Spark has great training programs as well, check them out. I remember my frst 5k class. We walked 2k. I thought I was going to die from exhaustion. I had thought that I was in good shape up until that point. Huh. If you can join a group, it is a great motivator to stay on track - keeping up with the group - Spark has a Team that will motivate you as well if you don't live near a store that runs training sessions.
