Thanks for the article, Boni! I learned something I had been wondering about for a long time: how to tell when I'm "going to failure" with weight lifting a muscle.
I had been hearing more and more about how that's the way to lift weights--to push the muscle till you can't push it anymore...but I didn't know exactly what that "meant" or "felt like" or "looked like". But when the writer said to push till you could no longer keep proper form, then I knew exactly what they are talking about, because I've done that before. That's where the move stops being "smooth" and starts becoming "wobbly" because you're giving it your all and have gotten to where you just can't lift it one more time.
