Cool! I don't have a treadmill, and I live in Belgium so we have pretty moderate temperatures year round, but I could totally see that this would be great if you have to stay indoors due to weather or some other circumstance... and I love the bird and wildlife sounds! I'd crank up the volume to get to hear those birds over the hum of the treadmill. And yes, these tropical surrounding would be awesome during the cold winter!

Wouldn't it be cool if someone developed virtual reality glasses with this scenery?

Hi gang,

In the past I've been a heavy indoor exerciser. And even with the summer, I've found myself exercising indoors lately because of the terrible heat we are having here this summer (and lately it's been lots of rain that's been keeping me indoors exercising).

So if you are a person who uses a treadmill, elyptical, stepper (or even like me, a crazy rock and roll stepper), then you might be interested in some videos I've discovered on the net. They are videos that make you feel like you are walking outdoors. Put them in, get on your "walking machine", whatever one you use, and see if you don't feel more like you are walking outside! Try it to this one and see what ya think (it's my favorite cause I like tropical scenery):

If you like it, here's their website (and no, I'm not selling them or getting any profits from telling about it--I just like the idea. I've not bought any videos yet, just tried the samples and liked them):

Hope this helps someone---I think it will be helping me this winter in overcoming "winter blues" by feeling like I'm walking outdoors!
