You are so right, Tory. I've tried to tell my dad this. He just hears on Dr. Oz that nuts are good for you, so he snacks on them several times a day--no telling how much fat he's getting! A person should only eat 1/4 cup of them per day--that's it! (And I've learned that 1/4 cup is less than "a handful" and that's always what they say to eat: a handful per day. Depends on how large or small ones hands are, I guess! Ha! So if a person eats nuts regularly, it's best to keep a 1/4 cup measure near the bag to make sure one doesn't overdo it.
