Thanks for the article, Michele! I plan to print it out and keep it as a reference (I say that because I keep hoping someday I can actually begin to speak in some form or fashion about the plant strong lifestyle--maybe have classes about it. It's a dream of mine, anyway.)
What's it gonna take to turn carnavores around? Seems like this would do it! Disgusting!!!
And you know another thing that bugs me about chickens is that some of these company's raise their chickens in total darkness (there's some reason for it...can't remember) and so these poor animals live and die in darkness! What kind of life is that? How wrong is that?
I'll never forget as a kid I felt kinda mad at chickens! ha! My grandpa owned a farm and there were these CUTE little widdy's (chicken baby's) walking around. I went up to play with one, and mama chicken ran up, sqwacking and pecked me on the shin!!! "Mean old chickens!!!! I hate chickens!!!", I thought! Ha!!
Now I treasure that memory, because mama chicken was protecting her baby's like any good mother would. She just saw this giant that maybe was about to eat her kids---so she attacked! Moma cared for her kids! So chicken's are not just dumb animals. They have a life, too. They love their kids, too.
