This is so cool. But, if you feel like this is turning out to be a pain in the behind, I will not be in anyway upset if you decide not to do this.
Oh my goodness! That is a lot of work for you. You would do that? You should present it to Spark People too. Maybe, they will even pay you for it. I like most veggies. I like tofu. I love fruit. I like almonds and pecans and I will eat sesame seeds for iron. I like pumpkin seeds too. I have a bag of raw ones I need to do something with. They are getting old. I like soy yogurt. I like unsweetened soy milk. Oh! I don't like okra. I also try to use as many non green veggies for my husband because of the vitamin K. His doctors say because he is on cumiden -I spelled that wrong- he can't have too much vitamin K which is in green leafy veggies. I'm hoping I can get him on as close to a raw food diet as I can or at least a no animal product, non-processed food diet, in the hopes that he won't need the med.s so much. For now, I am looking for a healthy vegan meal plan. Thank you so much for even considering this. Maybe, you could become a much needed vegan nutritionist.
You can select "vegetarian" and "no egg" on the meal plan and then easily substitute the dairy wherever it comes up. Most of the dairy is yogurt and by the glass, so those are easy to sub with soy (or whatever kind you like better) versions.
What kinds of foods do you like to eat? I will make you up a vegan meal plan for 4 weeks. This will be a fun challenge for me, because I am on disability and I need to keep occupied. SparkMail me with your food tastes, veggies you don't like, cooking ability, etc.give me tons of information and I will work on it and send you back a plan with links to recipes... Really this would be fun for me. BTW I cook vegan and low fat, so those are mostly the kinds of recipes you will get, unless you ask for different.
Thanks again. That does sound simple. Sometimes I just want it all listed in a nice simple as you said this is what you do form lol, so I can mindlessly follow and check off the list as I go. Hmmmm. what's in a name?
DR Fuhrmans post in the other thread you started is simple, fruit for breakfast sald beans and fruit for lunch dinner salad and cooked veggies. Adjust to your tastes. No plan will fit any one person, you are following a life style not a do this only diet. This will be forever not just a few weeks so make it something you can live with over the long term
