Thanks for this thread. I've been so frustrated trying to do the nutrition tracking because there's literally no way to get enough of the protein they want to you eat on a purely plant based diet and leave room in a day for anything else! So many health experts say we eat too much protein. Think I'll try to change the tracker settings. Wish me luch!
okay, so what did you change it to?
I changed everything on the tracker. I don't track any longer but it helped me to have the new levels when i did.
So after reading various posts it seems like most of us are in agreement that Spark People (which following an omnivorous diet) recommends too much protein.
Has anyone gone in and made changes to your protein/fat/carb recommendation? If you are tracking other nutrients like fiber, sodium, calcium etc have you set your own limits there or are you using SPs?
I'm thinking of changing my limits to REAL limits for people with plant based diets! What about you?
