Are you taking an iron and B12 supplements? If not, start taking them right now! The iron in plant-based food isn't used at the same efficiency as animal product protein, so with your condition it is probably a good idea to supplement with more plant-based iron.
If you are not deficient in any vitamins, check for food allergies. They can also be responsible for major migraines.
My goodness! A migraine for two weeks! When I was pregnant and afraid of medications, I would put ground ginger in vegan "gelatin" capsules and take that at the first hint of a migraine. It was suggested to me by my midwife. It seemed to help some.
But I would suggest you work with your doctor to find the cause for these migraines. Threating the symptoms can go only so far. Usually there is a food or environmental connection with migraines and, if you can find that, you might be able to lessen their frequency or duration. I wish you luck. Migraines are horrible.

I've had a migraine every day since New Year's Eve and I'm anaemic. Can anyone suggest anything? I've had some tablets from the doctors which are suppressing the migraines enough for me to work but I'm still getting the visual disturbances. Re the anaemia, I'm eating green leafy vegetables with every lunch and dinner and I'm having Vegemite on brown toast for breakfast and for snacks and washing it down with orange juice (which probably isn't helping the migraines).
Can anyone suggest anything else I can try?
