It's 61 with a high of 80 and no chance of rain. Scale was up 0.1# this week so need to focus more on my diet since I'll only get in 2 days at the gym but will do all 3 lifting workouts and 1 cardio workout. Hope everyone has a safe and healthy day remembering the true reason for today and not the beginning of Summer or those sales at stores.

Hope you have a great day at the sidewalk sale.

It has been another extremely hot day here-95. I have been trying to get in my steps inside. Not as easy as longer walks outside but trying to do 15 min every hour so I reach my 10K. Morning was lost to church.

What a difference a day makes yesterday it was rainy and stormy and today it's sunny and 80. Tomorrow is supposed to be another nice day good thing because we are doing a sidewalk sale and I have to sit out there for a couple of hours and didn't want to do it in the rain. Scale still down for the week and month so should be OK for tomorrow's weigh in.

Started off at 66 when I started my morning walk but we got up to 95 with a heat index of 100 today and going to be blazing hot for several days

It's 76 with a high of 88 and 40% chance of storms this afternoon. Won't know til sometime this afternoon my work schedule for next week so I can plan my workouts for the week. Legs and arms aren't sore today so think it was just doing something different that caused them to be sore for a couple of days.

Been an extremely busy week for me but I have managed to get in my steps every day-but only by getting up by 6 am. Hopefully I can get some extra sleep this weekend. I did manage a short nap this afternoon.

It's 68 with a high of 84 and 20% chance of rain today. Achieved my daily activity goal yesterday but still had steps to get so ended up tripling my daily activity goal to get 10K steps for the day. Scale is down 0.4# from yesterday and 1# for the week and down almost 2# for the month so gonna keep this going and have a nice loss for the week and month. Friday Cardio/Abs is all that's planned for today after a stop at Wal-Mart for a couple things then off to GNC after my workout for a couple of things.

It's 54 with a high of 79 and no chance of rain until tomorrow. Back/Biceps is the plan for today with 15 min of treadmill jogging. The 20#'s were harder and I think I'll stick to those as long as I can. Down 0.6# for the week and down 1.5# for the month so far. Breakfast first then will get my workout in after I stop and get gas and after my workout go to the pharmacy for medicine refills.

When life throws you lemon, just make lemon aide! That has been my life lately. I keep getting up earlier and earlier to try to get out to walk before starting my day. So far I haven't gone under but lets say I am pretty much treading water!

It's 54 with a high of 61 and a slight chance of rain today then clear the rest of the week. Stepped out of my comfort zone yesterday by using 20# weights instead of 15# weights that I normally use. Today is Leg day where I do super sets instead of circuits so not sure if I'll get done sooner or not but will see.

It's 58 with a high of 67 and a 40% chance of rain today. Chest/Triceps and Abs today I get a lot of Abs this month. Scale was the same this morning as yesterday so after breakfast I'll head out to the gym and get my workout in. Achieved my daily activity goal yesterday and had over 10K steps for the day so will see what I can get steps wise today. Just after noon I finished creating my workout templates so now I'm ready to go the rest of this week and this month too.

Rain has missed us the last 2 days. I got DH to walk about 1/2 mi with me this morning. I did my 5 mi but knew he couldn't handle that.

I spent most of the morning on the phone trying to take care of a lot of different things. Our furbaby is now set up to have her teeth cleaned on Wed.

It's 56 with a high of 74 and a good chance of scattered rain all day. Scale down 0.9# for the week but body fat is up 1% for the week. Today's plan is Monday Cardio so will head out after breakfast to get that done. Sent weigh in to Christian already and will send later to online TOPS groups. Even though I'm not a TOPS member anymore I still belong to the online groups and have a home weigh in instead of a chapter weigh in.

It's 51 with a high of 72 and a slight chance of rain tomorrow. Scale is down 0.4# and body fat is down 0.1% for the week so far so going to watch my snacking today and have a better weigh in tomorrow morning. Still plan on getting my workout templates created either before we go to graduation or after we get back. No party this time since the graduate will be leaving for training either after graduation today or early tomorrow morning so had the party last Saturday.

Has been a rough day. DH's widow maker was over 90% blocked! If he hadn't needed the shoulder surgery he likely would have had a fatal heart attack so the shoulder injury saved his life.

Think we are the only 2 left posting on here. I continue to walk and once I get DH set on a good path, I hope to start doing some water aerobics. Getting too hot to walk before long so may have to drive to the mall for a walk.

DH is all set for his heart cath in the morning. We have to be at the hospital at 6 am so won't get to walk early as I normally do. Will try to do some walking while I wait to hear how he does.

It is official, DH needs to have a heart cath so life is officially on hold till we know the ticker is ok. It was foggy when I walked this morning. We took care of 2 dr visits for DH today and I took Abbie to get her shots updated this afternoon.

It's 62 with a high of 86 and no chance of rain until later this week. Scale was up 1.4# for the week and 1.6# for the month while my body fat is down 0.7# for the week but up 0.2% for the month. Chest/Triceps and Cardio on the machine today until I get my new stuff but if I get my new stuff then I'll do it but not track on my app since won't have the template created yet.

Scale up today but knew it would since I had cake at a graduation/eagle scout ceremony last night and hoping it won't be up tomorrow after another graduation party today. I'll get in 3 days of workouts this week even if I have to go to the gym after 4PM which is when I get off tomorrow. Since May 1st I've only had 2 inactivity stamps and both were last week 1 on Sunday at church then 1 yesterday sitting at the Eagle Scout ceremony.

Got bad news-DH's stress test was abnormal so now everything is up in the air! Can't schedule surgery until he gets the all clear. If he has to have a stent things will be delayed for several months. In the meantime all he can do is take Tylenol and ice the shoulder.

I have gotten in my 10K every day but 1 since the 1st of May.

Scale is still the same as yesterday so still down a little for the week but up just a little for the month. I only had 1 gym day this week so had to do a total body workout and put together something that was what I'd already done 3 exercises from each workout then abs.

Spent most of the day taking hubby for his pre-testing so he can get approved for surgery. I did get in my walk, caught up my ironing, took a trunk load to the thrift store and ran in to the mall to Bath & Body to get my free lotion! Busy day.

Painting is done so tomorrow will be trying to put the house back in order. Glad to have that done but now I have to paint all the closet doors. Not looking forward to that but boy do they look dirty next to the fresh paint.

Have been getting in my walking even with all of this going on and taking DH to the dr. More appointments on Thur & Fri. Hoping surgery can be scheduled soon if he does well on the stress test.

It's 63 with a high of 80 and no chance of rain until Thursday. Scale the same as yesterday and with limited workout time I have to be more diligent with my food choices. Didn't reach 100% daily activity goal first time in May I didn't do that so will work extra hard after I get off to get the needed time. Tomorrow is full body workout and cardio progression.

It's 63 with a high of 82 and no chance of rain until Thursday this week. Scale was up 0.9# and body fat was up 1.2% from last week so have some work to do to have a loss for the week and month. Will only get in 1 gym workout this week due to my work schedule working long shifts where the earliest I get off is 4PM and that's still too late to get to the gym as it's normally busy around that time and there are the cheer gym kids running through the gym every 5-10min to use the restroom. There used to be a time when there were kids classes at the gym and those kids didn't run to the restroom every 5-10min during class.

Running behind today-got my steps in and did grocery shopping but took time out to attend a picnic/going away party at friends and that 3 hours messed up what I needed to do for today. The bathroom needs a little more work to be ready to paint on Mon and I have to get everything off the walls in the hall and kitchen and I have to go get the paint!!! I will be working on that after church tomorrow.

Had my dr's visit today and my labs were all good except BS was a bit elevated but had come down. I had lost 10 lbs since my last visit and doc would like me to do that again before my next visit. Working on that - slowly but surely.

It's 49 feels like 47 with a high of 71. Still under an areal flood warning until 7AM on Sunday. Working 11:30-5:15 today so will eat a sandwich or something before I leave or stop and get something to eat before I clock in. No gym workout but will get in plenty of lifting unloading the truck this morning later.

Have been working on removing wallpaper in our bathroom all week and my arm is sore from scraping and my legs hurt from standing on the ladder. Will be glad to get this job done!!
I am still trying in get in my 10K in steps per day and achieving it most day.

It's 42 feels like 38 with a high of 61 with an areal flood warning lasting until 7AM on Sunday morning. Scale is down 0.6# from yesterday but up 0.4# for the week so will watch my sweets and snacking the rest of the week and should be fine on Monday. Won't know work schedule for next week until sometime Saturday so I can plan my workouts for the week.

It's 51 with a high of 57 and chances of rain all day. Today's plan is Back/Biceps and Cardio Progression. Waiting until the rain either takes a break or lets up before going to workout today. Might do extra cardio will depend on how I feel after since I had cramps yesterday morning.

It's 71 after starting out cold this morning. Chances of rain later this evening. No new stuff yet so will do last month's Back/Biceps workout tomorrow with maybe a little extra cardio all depending on how I feel after. Almost at 10K but will have some work to reach 100% daily activity goal.

Had to take DH to the orthopedic surgeon today. We were running all day long. I am sure happy I was up at 6:30 so I could get my walk in. If I had waited, it would not have happened.
Finally got his replacement hearing aide this afternoon BUT they sent the wrong color so now have to wait again for the right one but they are letting him use this one.

It's 39 feels like 32 with a high of 60 and a slight chance of rain until about noon. Scale is down 0.1# from last week but body fat is down 1.4% so at least that is on the right track. Plan is Chest/Triceps but unsure if I'll do Quads/Hamstrings or extra cardio today then do legs and back/biceps on Wed.

I was up by 6:30 so I could get my morning walk in before church. I also got the bedroom dusted and the kitchen mopped before time to go. Trying to keep up with everything keeps me juggling things-seems I don't get things done as fast as I once did!!

I have linked my Fitbit with our oldest grandson and his wife and trying to keep up with some 30+ is challenging me to move even more!! GS beat me by a little over 10K but I beat his wife by about 10K. They have to juggle kids, work and kids school activities and I applaud them for getting up at 4 am to go to the gym! So proud of GS as he has lost about 70 lbs and has close to 100 more to lose. He is 6'6" and was 437 lbs and is down to 366 and wants to get to 275 and see how that feels. We are so proud of him for taking charge of his life and health.

It's 53 with a high of 63 with a flash flood warning until 11PM. Not sure what I'm going to do yet if I'll do Chest/Triceps and Quads/Hamstrings tomorrow or do Quads/Hamstrings and Back/Biceps on Wed since I'll just get in 2 gym workouts this week. Scale is still up a little from last Monday but body fat is down from last Monday. Haven't gotten any new stuff yet but hope to sometime tomorrow.

It's 52 and rainy with the high of 69 but not sure we will make it. Under a Flash Flood Warning until midnight with some low laying rivers and creeks not cresting until tomorrow afternoon. I may only get in 2 gym workouts this week since I get off after 5 the days I work so will see what Christian wants me to do getting something workout wise in at home or go after 5PM anyways.

I feel like we are in the middle of summer! Started our day at 70 and up to 95 with the heat index of 101. Our car registered 100 this afternoon when we got in it after it sat in the sun in the parking lot. I am so not ready for this so early.

I am very happy I walked at 7 am and even then it was hot and I got sweaty. I ran errands most of the morning and we are dog sitting for friends today so I didn't get any more work done on removing the wallpaper in the bathroom but plan to make that a priority tomorrow.

It's 58 with a high of 72 for today and rainy now. Hope it stops and takes a break in a couple hours so we can unload the truck. Scale is up a little from yesterday and for the week so will watch today, tomorrow and Sunday before Monday's weigh in.

Sarah your cooler temps sound great. We hit 93 this afternoon with a heat index of 100. I didn't get out to walk until after 9 and it was already 88 before I got home!! I decided today was going to be spent doing inside jobs so started taking the wallpaper off of my bathroom-UGH. I have 1 wall completely done, another about half done and a few spots torn off on the other 2 walls. Hoping to get it done by the end of next week but....have several dr appointments so will see how that goes. Want to get it painted and have that behind us.

It's 39 with a high of 62 and chances of rain later this afternoon. Scale down 0.3# from yesterday and the same as Monday with body fat down 0.2% from Monday. Back/Biceps and Cardio Progression doing box jumps if I can get into the other room to get the box out and the ladies bar. The difference between the ladies bar and the guys bar is the weight the ladies bar is 35# and the guys bar is 45#. If I can't get into the other room I'll figure something out for the bar and will do jumping jacks instead of box jumps.

Our last day of cooler weather where we could leave the windows open. Nice to be able to do that but once the heat hits, we won't likely be able to have them open till late Oct. Ahhh, summer down south!!

I walked early and did more yardwork today. Then spent about 30 min talking to DISH. Getting tired of not having our NBC channel and they have no idea when they will settle with Hearst. I have been wanting to go to a different provider, but DH doesn't want me to since then he will have to learn how to use the control again and he has issues with technology emoticon

It's 47 feels like 43 with a high of 65 and rainy. Quads/Hamstrings and incline treadmill walking for today. Off today so get to take my time on my workout and stop at GNC for more Amino Energy will get both the Caramel Macchiato and maybe Blue Raspberry too.

I love the Fit Tea just to warn you it's in tea bags so in the event that you want to make more than just a tea cup of it use a Tea Ball. I've been using it for about a month and haven't noticed a difference in my weight but not sure of a food plan to follow with it.

We started out at 58 this morning and it has been overcast and windy today. We hit 81 for our high today which was great as Vickie and I got all the Easter décor picked up, washed, let it dry for a few hours and it is now put away.

I got in nearly 11K today with my walk and then doing the work in the park.

It started out cool and warmed up into the 70's. Worked til noon then got my Monday Cardio workout and burned 546 calories. Scale was down 0.6# from last week but body fat was up 1.1% for the week. Tomorrow's workout plan is Chest/Triceps and 15 min of Cardio on the elliptical. Reached my daily goal while still on one of the cardio machines and have over 10K steps might try for 15K steps before bedtime tonight.

It's 46 with a high of 68 and no chance of rain today but still an areal flood warning until 12:30 tomorrow afternoon. Scale still down from Monday but up a little from yesterday so watching sodium and snacks today to hopefully have a better weigh in tomorrow morning. Plan for tomorrow is Monday Cardio after work. Got in my steps and reached my daily activity goal yesterday now to do it again today too.

Slept in this morning so didn't get out to walk until 8 and was wishing I had gotten up earlier as it was already warm-70! However, I soldiered on and got in 3 mi before 9.

Guess summer is nigh upon us. Wildfires are burning less than 20 mi from us and we smell the smoke from time to time. We desperately need rain but not looking great-possibility of some Sun late and into Mon but the showers will be spotty.

It's 42 feels like 34 with a high of 55 and a slight chance of rain but an areal flood warning until 8PM today. Instead of shortening my jump rope after the first 4 exercises I decided to do jumping jacks instead. I have 1 more week of this last months workouts then hopefully will get something new. Scale is down 0.5# from Monday so should be OK for weigh in on Monday.

Got in my 10K today. Took care of grocery shopping and with a $50 purchase they offer a $50 gas card for $40 so took advantage of that. With our Prius we only fill up every 3-4 weeks but saving 20% on the gas we use helps make the $$ go further.

It's 50 feels like 46 with a high of 59 and a good chance of rain all day even though the sun is shinning now. Scale is down 0.5# from Monday but up a little from yesterday. Back/Biceps and Cardio Progression using my new jump rope. Tried to find the tool that I put in my bag but can't so will look again later this afternoon otherwise will have to see if my dad can help me shorten it on Sunday.

It's 62 and rainy with a high of 70 for today. Scale down a little more today just need to not snack today at work but will go and get more Lay's Poppables they are so good and Walgreen's and Wal-Mart have the small bags but Dollar General has bigger bags because the manager's mom likes them and she talked the chip delivery guy to keep on leaving the bigger bags. Tomorrow's workout is Back/Biceps and Cardio Progression. The jump rope I bought is under $5.

It's 65 with a high of 80 and no chance of rain today. Got my Cardio workout in yesterday and today is Quads/Hamstrings and 10 min of incline treadmill walking to conclude my machine cardio for the week. Friday is Back/Biceps and Cardio progression using a jump rope in between exercises. Didn't get a little tool to adjust my jump rope so will go buy another one this morning and leave the other one at the gym with the weights in it. Might put on the handles weighted jump rope remove weights if you wish.

Getting warmer so I am having to get up earlier for my walk. Soon going to have to move to the pool for my exercise.

Had to attend a meeting today on insurance. Working on the finance committee one has to learn the ins and outs to be sure our community is properly covered.
