Great job on all the races everyone. I want to run one in September but am not sure if I will be ready. It is a rough course and my training has been hit or miss. Congrats on finding a job. I hope it works out well.

Best of luck with your upcoming road races.
I finally found a job, it will really be a challenge, working overnights. Never done overnights in my life LOL But the job seems to be just what I am looking for. The other challenge will be fitting my fitness in to the game. If anyone has some great ideas or experience they would like to share. I would love any advice or suggestions.

Well, even thought June is almost over, I figured I'd join in. I'm trying to get myself motivated again, and get back out there. I have my first race since Color Me Rad in April in 9 weeks, it's an 8k. Then a 5k a week later. Then an 8k a week after that!

Hello team
Been a hot week here, but managed to get some miles in as well as a 5K run or the Homeless fun run, which by the way was a personal best for me. Hope everyone had a great weekend and ready to tackle the week ahead.

Hello team
Hope everyone's summer is off to a good start. I have had a difficult first 6 months of the year. Started in January when my mom fell and had a brain injury and had to have emergency surgery. She seemed to be improving and was able to be transferred to rehab, butt then went downhill from there and died January 22nd with a perforated bowel.
It was a yucky season for training for my third half-marathon, but managed to survive and conquered it. Bolder Boulder on memorial day, followed by a 10k a week later.
A week later i lost my job due to downsizing. So i am dusting myself off after a week of camp and have been interviewing for another job. I was offered and accepted a job at a rehab and longterm care facility and hope things will work out there with my pre employment physical.
I have been working out and maintaining my weight. I log on to spark people to log my fitness, but that has been mostly the activity lately. I am ready to begin a new commitment and will be more active on this site and the team. Hope you all have a sparking fantastic day!!!
Deanna
