last day, food good (30 NC), but no exercise. Again, didn't want to leave the dog to go the gym, especially since I didn't bring her cone collar to ensure she wasn't licking the wound when I wasn't around.

Last January check-in from me!

Friday:

1) food - another derailment over Thai food with a friend for a joint birthday dinner
2) fitness - worked out this morning!!
3) self-care - did not let myself feel compelled to go downstairs and socialize over pizza at work today, did not do any client work today, and journaled a bit at work.

Tomorrow I will be making a crisis run to the closest DMV to renew my driver's license which I learned expired TWO DAYS AGO when trying to open another checking account for work this afternoon!!! Gads... I need a caretaker.

Final check in. Bedtime too late last night, food good today, no strength training. For the month I'm happy that I made some progress. It took awhile to stop the little cheats but I've been doing well the last couple weeks. My weight is almost back down to pre-Christmas and I'm doing a little better on bedtime and strength training. But not enough to call them habits. I'll keep working on them next month.

No exercise again yesterday, but food good. This dog is dragging me down. Normally I'd take a walk by the river most work days, but I can't leave her, and she shouldn't be walking much yet.

Heidi, sounds like a good find on the running shoes. Good luck.

I found out that it took an hour even when I wasn't doing any cooking just to pack, weigh and so on. Things like getting cooked meat out of the freezer. Weighed frozen blueberries and put in containers. Added frozen blackberries. Scooped fermented chia in containers. I also use dried dates which I washed with water. They have to be put in container. Weighed mixed nuts. Get the sprouts and cleaned out the seed coatings. Put herbal tea in containers. And I'm not even doing fresh green salad. Too much work already. Instead, I rely on fermented vegetables and barley grass pills for greens. I mixed my own nuts (Walnuts, almonds, brazil nuts, peanuts). Lots of small containers, lots of work.

Went and got the tooth I broke yesterday fixed- it didn't take long so decided to do my. Shopping, the hub will be home late tonight so I had to prepare for the onslaught to my cupboards.

Fred Meyer was PACKED, weird for being midweek and only 2:30. The gas station right after was worse. Then I went to Costco. I blew some money today but it was on new CLEARANCE running shoes- just happened to be my size and I had been looking at new shoes and decided on running since I've jogged in my cross country walking shoes and my knees hurt. And they are New Balance, my favorite kind so I took it as a sign, the universe wanted to have those shoes. Another plus is they are black with a small, thin turquoise rim, not neon pink, green or orange. They went from $70 to $55 with a $10 off coupon.

Costco had nice nylon (I guess) work out pants, I wanted some with the hot pink on the waistband but they only had L tall's (amazingly enough) with a purple top- I still like them and they are long enough. Oh, and they were $17. I'd like the matching jacket too but it was $30. Maybe if they still have some in 2 weeks.

I took today's money-I-would-have-spent-cigarettes and bought a bouquet of fresh flowers.

Catching up...

Wednesday:
1) Food - well, not so great but not so bad either
2) Fitness - dog walk in the morning so Chaser would be happy to sleep all day
3) Self-care - spent the day in my favorite spa! Pure awesomeness - no job, no clients, no chores, no noise in my head!

Thursday:
1) Food - gads, there was an apple fritter issue
2) Fitness - slept in and did not work out
3) Self-care - no time for much of anything but I'm going bed on time. In fact, I might have already...

Early to bed last night, food pretty good today though I had book club at a Vietnamese restaurant and I'm not entirely sure how many carbs I had. Just a few white noodles, not sure what they were made from, but the rest of it was pork and veggies. No strength training today.

Walked the dog today, and had two veggies for lunch. Only one so far tonight. Maybe I'll have some broccoli tonight.

Yesterday was better on food, but still crap on exercise. I did leave work pretty much on time, though.

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?

Yes, we have had blogs that asked people to list their menu as if they had a few days to live and money was no object. It was fun and interesting. A lot of people asked for chef to prepare organic foods.

My challenge will be going to the gym 3 times a week for group ex classes. The 2 meals per day with no snack and eat outside at lunch seems to be working. I only skipped going outside when it's too cold. Otherwise, I'm gamed. So I'll leave those out of the challenge. The group ex class is Tue-Thur-Sat. For this week, I'm starting on the right foot.

I can make 2 out of 3 but just can't pull that third part of the goal off. The last couple days work really sucked- the supervisor seems to prefer the sound of her own voice as opposed to mine even after she asks a question. Anyway, I managed to put money into svaings so I'm happy about that! And got exercise in- that means organization slipped away- fine, I only have 2 more days so I consider myself doing very good!

ELIZ if they are impaired like that I would push for it. It is NOT that invasive and recovery is not that bad. The worst is the eyedrop regimen if they can handle that its cake. They will be new people! We just take a lot of time explaining things and going over what is going to happen so they can absorb and understand. WHen It comes to the result, it all comes in together and the drop regimen is secondary to WOW I CAN SEE!

My gals have become worse! But since one almost died last June the family wants nothing done to her. Frustrating. The other gal has 2 types of cataracts- one slow and one fast- she misses her chair and curbs and even tripped up her sisters steps. I'm going to taslk to the eye Dr about this. :o( We go to the same place.

I had no idea how it was for them till it happened to me! emoticon

emoticon I cleaned 3 closets today! woo-hoo! Love the roominess!

ELIZ they only usually operate if they are continually worse or they are causing significant impairment, which they were. If they are pretty stable and can be corrected with glasses they leave them alone. My one guy that had it done stopped falling, has better balance, can read and write normally (for him) again, and is generally happier.

Loss of streak = loss of motivation. No check for yesterday. Sad thing is, if I'd had my wallet with me, I'd have bought Chester's chicken for dinner, which would have been a much lighter carb load than the Nalley's chili I ate instead, and would have kept me under 50 NC.

Lack of prep plus loss of streak, just didn't reach for it. However, I have a roast in the house now, so evening food will not be a problem.

This year end thing is wearing on me... I worked until 7:00 last night (client asked me what I was doing later that evening and I said 'a face plant on my living room carpet' - not too far off) and then again (different client) until 6:30 tonight. I'm wiped out - so is Chaser!

1) Food - not too bad but there was an early incident this morning involving those fluorescent orange 'cheese' balls... :(
2) Fitness - worked out hard this morning! Yay!
3) Self-care - no time. Going to bed soon and calling it a day.

Thanks Cindy and Kris.
Cindy my 2 group home gals have catartacts too- but no eye Dr has suggested operating on them. :o( ?????
Hopefully I'll need mine first! LOL!!

Today I cleaned another closet- tossing things left and right! LOVE it! The bad thing was I found a long lost box of clothes for my 10 yr old son- in size 7!! POOH! Too small. And my younger boys with Down Syndrome can't wear slims. Somebody at the Salvation Army is going to hit the jackpot for boys jeans!

ELIZ I have nursed some folks at my group home back to good sight from this. They only cover the eye initially, then it may just be to keep you from rubbing it, if at all. It mostly heals very quickly but there is an extensive eye drop regimen that follows. It was worth it for my guys, they are brand new people being able to see right!

I have been resisting junk just fine so far, but still sick so we shall see! I am proud of the last 3-4 days junk free anyway! I seriously crave stuff that wil kill me! Mc Donald's burgers and fries!! WHAT IS that?? I will be torn up for a week if I go near Mc D's!!

Nay, don't beat yourself up, you've had a superb month! Just jump back in and keep going. Hope your dog heals quickly.

Eliz, I don't think the eye has to be covered afterwards, but I don't remember for sure.

Got to bed 15 minutes early last night - not the 30 I was aiming for, but not bad. Unfortunately I woke up 4 times. Was able to go back to sleep and thank goodness I had gone to bed early or I'd have been dragging today. Guess that's another reason not to skimp on sleep, some nights will end up much less than you planned on.

Food good today, and not a strength training day. It got above zero today!

The vet says there's a 90% chance this operation will correct the problem. Have to wait and see. She's feeling better today, was still a little dopey last night, and seems to be in less pain also this morning.

Alas, I also lost my exercise streak also. I was planning on some ST before bed, then totally forgot it. No check for yesterday.

Also on the disappointment front, I did not lose a single ounce last week. Didn't gain either, which is a relief, but I think I'm going to have to tighten things up.

Yesterday was a wash. Windchills -50. Spent all my time just trying to keep everybody warm!
Today they are -39, have to get some organizing done. The bad thing is all this stuff I'm donating is piling up and GH won't take it to the Salvation Army! emoticon I need to hire some one!

FITKIRIS I only have one good eye- I hate the thought of surgery on it!! eek! I wonder when I recover- is the operated eye covered? Because then I can't see out of the bad eye!!

Not doing so well here. Pills are ok, but I haven't bothered to fill my pill boxes with the supplements, so haven't been taking them. No veggies last night - I'd been sharing the cheese and hot dogs I'd been using to crate train BB, plus drank two great big pots of tea with cream/coconut milk, and come down with a cold, so didn't exactly eat supper. But BB did get me out to take a walk, among other things.

House breaking isn't going so well. It's hardly surprising, under the circumstances. She ate about a pound of hot dogs and over a pound of cheese as part of the crate training, so of course she drank lots of water, and, well, you know what happens next! And with it down around -0- when we went out last thing last night, she wasn't interested. So two accidents on the carpet during the day and one in the bathroom last night. Sigh. One thing I do feel good about - I haven't blamed her or scolded her at all. I haven't paid enough attention to her signals, and I should have made her stay out long enough to do what needed to be done last night. Only problem was that that meant I had to stay out, too,and I didn't want to either!

Nothing going on today except to keep working on the crate training and the house breaking, and trying to get over this cold.

Have a great day everyone!

Hope your dog is ok, Naypooie!

AARRGGHH! Done in by a lame dog.

Which is to say my max 50 NC streak is broken. I had to take my dog out of town to a specialist vet because she has a damaged ACL. Spent last night in a motel (early appointment for dog this morning). While I managed to stay below 50 NC yesterday, for some reason I did not order my omelet a la carte this morning, and I ate the biscuit and fruit cup that came with it. Probably could have managed the fruit, but biscuits are total carb bombs. I didn't do that badly the rest of the day, sunflower seeds, roast beef, veggies, but it all added up to 94 NC.

Still, stayed under 100 NC, and TRIUMPH! I did not get a DQ milkshake. I had to resist them three or four times.

Oh yeah, spring cannot get here soon enough - sounds good to me.

Finally did some strength training last night. I don't do a lot but anything helps. Food today was good and I'm planning on going to bed early, all week. I shouldn't have been tired today but found myself nodding off at my desk this morning and this afternoon. I feel as tired as I did when I had mono (twice) so not sure what's going on. I must be fighting some kind of bug.

Did I mention no check for Sunday (did some housework, but not enough to qualify as exercise)?

Today is a wash also. Technically I have time to do some exercise but I'm pretty whupped and probably going to bed super early. Tomorrow is the worst business day of the year and I'm trying not to be depressed about it, but it's like a grody grey cloud ready to burst over me.

Ah, well. Before I know it it will be Wednesday and the worst will be over again until next fall. Hope next week is a good one - no surprises, no chaos.

Gonna start working on the February Challenge before I hit the hay. Is Countdown to Spring OK with everyone?

I need to conquer the pressure cooker next!

When I had the flu I ate BAD, but not bad like I used to pre LC. What can you do you are so miserable. Last Thursday my fever broke- went back to my regular LC eating and I feel FANTASTIC!! So I agree with Woubbie- we have to give ourselves some slack. If I had only hours to live- I might eat a cupcake before I go- LOL!!

Yes Cindy, I have many crocks of various size especially the small ones. About 6 for the 1 1/2 qt. I use two of them for making herbal tea. One for dandelion and one for marigold. I like to keep them separated. I have one crock to keep water warm as the hot water from the faucet takes forever to get hot (it's an apartment complex afterall) and I wasted a lot of water and electricity to get warm water for my waterpik. I also like to soften up the toothbrush with the warm water. I have 2 pressure cookers which I used for the last two days of cooking. I just bought a lot of meats on Sat and had to cook them. Put them in serving containers and weighed them also took a lot of time. My serving size for the meat is 3 oz. The mackerel are small, so the serving size is 1 fish, also about 3 oz. The good thing is I should have a lot of cooked meats in the freezer. :)

Don't feel bad about craving crap food when you're sick. It seems to be a totally common reaction. My go-to is still saltine crackers sopped up in milk. I don't eat wheat, but that still seems to go down so well when nothing else does.

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?

SKATER have you used the crockpot? Its a lifesaver!

Woubbie I like it too!

LUCY Hilarious!!

I am officially sick, did NOTHING today and not that I have anything to track, but my Spark Activity tracker USB thing broke and I am back and forth with customer service. Good thing I am not doing much to want uploaded! I am fighting the good fight and resisting the inevitable junk cravings. I don't know why, whenever I am sick I crave crap that will definitely make me feel worse! I had the hubby cook me italian sausage with sauce and zucchini noodles. It was good, even though I started out not wanting it.

For Sat, I was 3 for 3. Eating brunch outside, 2 meals and attended the kickboxing class.

Cooking effort on Sat: 12 hours in the kitchen. Cooking beef, pork, fish and beans. Made one batch of sauerkraut.

For today, another 5 hours. Cooking chicken, another batch of sauerkraut.

Hopefully, I'll master the art of mass cooking soon, so I can have a lot of foods and free time.

I like it, Woubbie.

I'm frazzling due to time of year and work load. However, here's a funny one from today:

Call from ex-husband: "Hey, how's it going? What are you doing?"
Me: "Cleaning house 'cause someone's coming over, why?"
Ex: "But... it's your birthday"
Me: "No, it's not. It's your sister's birthday - mine is three days after hers, but now I know why your mom emailed me too!"
Ex: [silent for long I asked if he was still there] "Oh *bleep*, you're right! Whoa. So Mom and I are on the same wavelength??"
Then he started laughing but said some more stuff I have to bleep out...

Bwahahaha!! Yup, I AM right. I am still laughing, but it was nice that they both remembered! I hope they got their acts together to wish my ex-SIL happy birthday!

Sunday:
1) Food - not bad at all. Nothing regrettable!
2) Fitness - fit in a dog walk, cleaned house like a crazy woman
3) Self-care - last on the priorities as usual, but I worked with my co-treasurer from my investment club and got an entire year of transactions set up in our new software (whew - big relief), paid my bills, caught up bank accounts, and started cleaning out last year's filing. Not exactly a load of relaxing stuff, but it's the kind of stuff that eases the noise in my head.

Skipped two days (wimpy about the cold) but still managed to average 12,289 steps/day this week.

Sounds like a great idea to me!

Eliz, both my parents have had cataract surgery. My dad commented on how blue the sky is now! My mom is thrilled to not need any vision correction except for reading glasses.

Still no strength training. Bedtime hasn't been horrible but sleeping has - keep getting woken up. I napped yesterday and today and plan on going to bed a little early all week while DH is gone just because I can and to try to adjust my body to going to bed earlier. Food OK, could be a little better. Will probably keep these challenges for next month.

Hey, I think it's time to bring up the monthly discussion of "What's Next Month's Theme?"

My first suggestion is a general one. Our "Induction Challenge Forum" is one of the least used ones, and tends to attract posts that probably belong in General Discussion. I've been thinking for quite a while that that Forum might be better suited to being opened up to Non-Atkins challenges as well. The induction and fat fast "stickies" would remain, but we could put our monthly challenges there as well, and it might encourage other users to start their own specific challenges. (I think posting the FlyLady challenges has really had me thinking about this a lot. I keep feeling like I'm clogging up the General Discussion area, whereas they should be somewhere off to the side.)

And, since there are always new members joining and just starting Induction, and some of us going back to induction temporarily, it might not be a bad idea to start a fresh Induction thread every month, just like our monthly make-your-own challenge.

What say all of you?

As to the February challenge, maybe something to do with 28 days/4 weeks? Countdown to Spring?

I didn't know glasses could correct either Maw! I learned too. And I didn't know everybody with cataracts has surgery when the glasses can no longer be fixed to help. I thought just some people had surgery. :o( I don't want surgery. Oh well.

So you really did mean that the glasses would take you from being legally blind due to cataracts to not being legally blind! I thought that you were leaving something out. I didn't know that glasses can correct for cataracts. I learn something new every day! Hope your glasses get here soon.

Maw I can only see out of my right eye. Right now the new lenses will correct that with the cataracts. Eventually the lenses will no longer "fix" the cataract vision, and I'll need the surgery. (my mom heard 64 is the average age for cataract surgery!)

So right now- right eye is always legally blind (sees shadows) and left eye is legally blind until the glasses come and they will correct that! No driving for me now. :o(

WOW!! Cindy great job!! I must confess I ate a small MCD fry yesterday. I never eat wheat- but I do cheat with a potato or non gmo corn item. ;o(

I organized half a closet yesterday. Then we had visitors. Today church, may not get to the closet I have my eye on.

I have not checked in here in a while! I am doing well usually on carb levels, I have not had any cheats, and remain French Fry Free! emoticon Exercise is spotty. I am trying but work or one thing or the other has got me. I wanted to do the 15 Minute Desk Workout today at work, but never had time!

I got the sinus gunk after a really good run of almost a year! I am not going to hold any hopes for the exercise, but try to keep the food in check. I have not been losing, but will try to get a handle on calories and exercise before I really start to worry. I am not 100% consistent yet.

Woubbie, tsunamis are (fortunately) mostly only a problem for the harbor. We haven't had any major landside damage since that monster in 1964. That was a bad one.

So, did the stationary bike for 35 minutes, and 41 NC gives me check and check for today.

Saturday:

1) Food - I love LC eating. I had no time this morning so I had my coffee and a protein bar, and nothing until 5:30! I was hungry but not fainting. :)
2) Fitness - rocked it. Worked out on my ski machine and then did some arm stuff with weights on my stability ball. And some crunches.
3) Self-care - I had a long day but I am home now and going to put on jammies. I am fighting the urge to write out a To Do list for tomorrow! I'm off duty and going to stay that way!!

Nay, you make me once again glad that I live in Pittsburgh. No hurricanes, no earthquakes, few tornados, NO TSUNAMIS!!! Lots of lovely green hills, plenty of water, 4 relatively moderate seasons, in short, paradise!

Did very well on Friday.

Work: Buttoned up early, even though I was in the middle of something. Yeah! That's a real win!
Exercise: Could have done more, but did enough.
Bedtime: Extra gold star - bed by 10:30 on a Friday night.

I'm confused - you have cataracts so you got new glasses but will be legally blind until they arrive, at which point they will apparently correct your vision so you're not legally blind?

Thursday was a loss- had an emergency eye dr visit- I could not see out of my good eye!! Last time that happened it was a vitrious tear. This time I have cataracts! POOH! Bought some cool retro glasses. But will be legally blind for 2 weeks till they come. DOUBLE POOH!

Friday I cleaned out and organized my son's closet so well that I keep walking back to look into it, to admire my work! LOL!! Also got under that son's bed! He has Down Syndrome (18 yr old) so he helps me keep it clean- unlike his brother and sisters who do not have special needs! LOL! emoticon

I'm giving myself three checks for Friday, though my evening pills and supplements are off a bit since I'm at the shelter until 3:30.

Less than a week until February! What are we going to do for our Challenge then? Or rather, what are we going to call it, since these personal challenges seem to be what's working or at least needed for us?

I'm getting a clearer visual of Bella Blu... LOL

Maw, the bankruptcy case was a former client. She couldn't pay me the $1,500 she owed me so she traded me over $4,500 in medial spa services. I was amazed and she was happy to do it. She signed me up for a year long laser skincare package, Botox, and gave me some high-end skincare products. I would NEVER have paid for all that for myself, and I've really enjoyed it. The girl's got a good heart and mad skincare skills but business sense that would make Bella Blu look like a Harvard MBA... I consider her a friend now, but I try to stay out of the splatter zone!

Friday... yowza. Chaser had a good day - visited with a vendor or two, got a walk mid-day, and stomped back up to my office and went to sleep when I was downstairs too long. As for me:

1) Food - atrocious!! I ate orange cheese balls! Probably the truly cheap kind. Gads.
2) Fitness - day off from working out, but took Chaser on a short stroll at lunch time
3) Self-care - I drank enough water... Said 'no' to something that would have jammed up my time next week, bought myself a birthday present which I can't have until my birthday (next Wednesday), and didn't beat myself up for eating unnaturally orange cheese balls...

Maw- what sort of dog is she?

I am winning the organization game as well as the exercise game. The money issue is still an issue.

Food Since Sunday has been good after putting myself back on induction since I'd been over indulging a lot- the food was good (for the most part) but far too much of it.

1. Stop wasting money- Save money

2. Exercise- do something every day

3. Get organized- mise en place

4. Write a letter by hand at least once a week.

Every day this side of the sod is a good day-
not sure who said it

My animals make me happy, some people not so much- a bumper sticker

Oops! Have to take back one of my checks from yesterday. I forgot to take my morning pills and supplements, probably because I didn't get home until about 11 yesterday morning and then went right to bed. Didn't notice until I went to take my pills this morning and saw that yesterday's were still there.

So, yesterday I walked up our tsunami escape route. Fairly steep, and it definitely needs some cleaning up. One narrow path (used to be a rocky road) through the bushes and berry vines, which tend to reach across the path. I'd hate to actually have to escape up it, would probably get well-blooded by the thorny vines. If it were more clear, it would be a great workout.

Anyway, 50 NC and a challenging walk, so check and check for yesterday.

Maw, I hope the dog isn't overwhelming. I'd say getting her into the crate is the first priority, or you're going to have a horrible time house-training her.

Thursday was a win, for a change!

Work: Left on time. (Forgot to lock up, in fact, cause I was so pleased to be leaving on time!)
Exercise: Mostly at work, but got done.
Bedtime: Could have gone even earlier, but made it by 11:00. Woohoo!

I hope you're getting paid before your client files for bankruptcy, Lesley!

Check and check and check for yesterday.

Bella Blu is definitely not house broken! And she does not want to go outside. Or in her crate. She's very smart, though. She understands the concept of cause and effect. She's just not so clear on which causes lead to which effects. But other than not being housebroken (and she's a big dog with a big bladder!) and having an upper resperatory infection and a very snotty nose and being a heavy drooler, she's a pretty good dog.

I'm 3 for 3. With brunch out in the parking lot and attended the kickboxing class this evening. 2 meals a day is no problem. The brunch outside is an ingenious idea that balances out the indoor computer lifestyle. Otherwise, it's the whole day and night inside a building. Sort of like a standing desk as an answer to a desk job. I can see this as a life long practice.

P.S. Tonight I dumped out the red cabbage sauerkraut. It was not spoiled. It smelled very nice. I dumped it as an extreme food safety precaution since the top part wasn't submerged in brine. But the airlock was keeping the cabbage from spoiling so the airlock was working. This is a good lesson for me. When my new airlocks arrive, I will have great success with the right equipments. The next batch will look and smell just as nice and I'll be able to enjoy it.

Thursday:

1) food - cake incident
2) fitness - got in a good workout this morning! And a short walk with Chaser at noon.
3) self-care - rocked it today. A former client called me last night and had me walk her through some issues on her accounting but then told me she's probably closing the doors and filing bankruptcy. Could not get her out of my head. It's sad - some of her own fault and some circumstances. Anyway, tonight I came home and listened to a medition CD in my bedroom and just relaxed. Going to bed on time tonight too...

Wednesday:

Work: Nope. Stayed late. Pointlessly. Same crap was still on my desk this morning.

Check and check and check for yesterday (which is still today for most of you!)

Done and done and done for the day before that.

I'm pulling an all-nighter at the homeless shelter tonight, which is throwing things out of kilter. I took some of my pills and supplements tonight but not all, but that's intentional. And tomorrow morning's will be late because I won't get home until almost noon. I'm sure glad getting to bed at a reasonable hour, or getting enough sleep, isn't one of my goals!

Met with my personal trainer this morning. I don't know what weights we started with, but I do know that they've all increased, and some of them quite a bit. I'm just a tad sore tonight.

Tomorrow I pick up my dog. I asked how much she needs to be walked, and was told that once around the block, twice a day, would be fine for now. Less after her heartworm treatment. I guess I'll be getting out and walking!

Maw, I remember Rhonda! She was a powerhouse, but I think that our personally adaptable challenges have more staying power. In my life, making LC eating a lifestyle means I need to work it into the big picture and that means in and around chaos, minor self-destructive tendencies, and a compromised ability to schedule my own time and say no enough... :) I like our big picture challenges - even when I totally suck!

Wednesday:

1) food - not bad but came home from walk with Chaser this afternoon and ate too much for the wrong reasons... *sigh* mindlessness is my downfall.
2) fitness - no workout this morning (day off) but it's now light enough after work (okay, I did skip out a half hour early) for long enough to come home, change clothes, and take the little dude for a walk.
3) self-care - walked, deep-breathing, told a client no tonight, but I need to practice mindfulness a tad more.
