Ouch, for sure. I have to have that done for the vein in my right calf and I refuse to get it done yet. I can't afford the time off and I have a feeling it would aggravate some other circulatory issues. I had the other ones done with Radio Frequency and they went really well. I guess I'm waiting around hoping they come up with an alternative to stripping. Hope you feel better soon!

Vein stripping hurt worse than I thought it would. The BFF came by with dinner so I couldn't eat what I'd had made but didn't really care- a bit nauseous so I'm going to bed.

1. Stop wasting money- Save money

2. Exercise- do something every day

3. Get organized- mise en place

4. Write a letter by hand at least once a week.

Every day this side of the sod is a good day-
not sure who said it

Grabbed a protein shake on the way out the door this morning and was planning to lunch with a friend, then got caught in a last minute meeting which threw my whole day off. It was 2 before I had a chance to chug another protein shake on the way to teach a class this afternoon. Dinner will be grilled rib-eye and onions.

Manic Monday... General manager is visiting from the home office in Denmark and I want to duck and run. I'm meeting with him and my boss tomorrow morning. Whee.

Gotta to run out of here early today (3:00!) and head for a client's workplace to start catching him up. I think he and are working on July. LOL I cooked a ton of meat yesterday and there's a brisket in the crockpot for tonight. I hope it's good. :)

Back to shoveling stuff off my desk!

had a week to myself while dh went to vegas. he'll be back tonight. it was nice and relaxing. i always think i'll catch up on this or that while he's gone, but, it doesn't usually happen. the weather was beautiful and i just hung out with the animals and watched movies and crappy tv. it's amazing how long you can do that even though there is nothing worthwhile to watch. emoticon anybody watch cutthroat kitchen? lol.

i was bad on friday and bought a pack of gyoza (asian dumplings). made a serving. so delicious ended up eating the whole bag....whoops! they were so good though. and i cooked them just perfectly emoticon

i bought and ate a couple other bad things--gluten free mac and cheese, gluten free foccaccia bread. except for the gyoza everything was wheat free....point for that?? yeah, right. emoticon any wonder i gained weight again?

i just was lazy and had no desire to wash and chop veggies while dh was gone. though i did eat lots of veggies cuz i had made a huge greek salad on tuesday. i ate that everyday. i didn't think i could eat it all myself, but, i almost did. i think there's one more bowl in there.

anyway, tomorrow will be regular cooking again. my dh is losing weight. he has been doing lots of walking and hiking and being good about what he eats. i better pull my socks up or he'll be skinnier than me and we can't have that. emoticon

Too busy yesterday to do more than log my food.

I cooked a few meals so I'd have them on hand for today and tomorrow- I'm having vein surgery one leg at a time- something to do with clots I guess or I'd have done them at the same time but I do get out of the S H for 2 days! I'll be drugged up so one of the "ladies" in the neighborhood is taking me and picking me up.

Instead of breakfast and lunch today I opted for brunch- tuna melts on thick slices of tomato! Yum!

When I get home I'm going to watch Audrey Hepburn movies and eat the Linda's Low Carb pound cake- it is really good. I used half the Splenda and its still plenty sweet- I can't image using any more than that.

wow, nearly 6 pm here already -- days just fly by. SIGH Must be my age or something...

Had bacon and egg with shirataki noodles, adding a dash of heavy cream and some butter, as well as spices. Will have steak for dinner shortly.

Been wanting to eat (more) but not doing so. Probably has to do with my not seeing my therapist last week, as she was on holiday or something. So it's 2 weeks between appointments. Hmmm, maybe that's why???

Very windy here but at least there's sun. So I been out back with the dogs several times today. Feels good.

As I did a lot of the ebay stuff yesterday, it wasn't so hellacious today.

That's about it!

Happy Monday!

Busy as crap again, but I need a break.

Got really dehydrated yesterday with all the driving and the walking. Just starting to perk up again. Sheesh! When will I ever learn to keep after this?!

That's what happens to me too LIVINMYDREAMS! Except it does inch up a pound or so mid week- but then Monday back down??!!

Hi all! The scale is down this morning but then it usually is on Monday mornings and then often goes up the next day and stays that way most of the week. I am detemined to keep it down this week. Do a few things a bit differently. Will see if it works.

Happy Monday! I am feeling good about having my food planned for the day so I can stay on track. I'm craving my chai, but I don't have enough money to buy it and have enough left for lunch out on Friday so I guess I'll have to pass it up.
