I don't even consider them any more. If I need a quick fix when hungry I go for 85% dark chocolate which has so little sugar it has never stalled me.

You can talk to God all you want and that's great, but the changes happen when you start listening to him.

Yeah, about the same here. I do keep them on hand for emergency munchies, like when I'm hungry and HAVE to go grocery shopping. At least they keep me from eating even worse crap, but that's kinda what they are - crap. They don't taste as good as the originals they're imitating, and the sugar alcohols hit your system a lot like fructose does.

Used in very limited doses they're OK. Eating them daily though is counterproductive if you're trying to break yourself of the habit of eating junk food just for fun.

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?

Did the same thing to me. I drink their shakes every day, but any of the treats and bars stop me dead. If they were totally scrumptious, I'd be sorry about it... but they're only "okay". Not worth it. I'm not even especially excited about their meals. It's easier to just make my own.

...the problem with people these days is
they've forgotten we're really just animals ...

A box will last me a year. I think husband uses them more than me. It does stop good keton readings for me. I don't worry about stall but I know the only time I use them is when I will be out of any other options (like working on farm for 4-7 hrs and will need something eventually before I get home.

type with you later. Junebug

The Atkins website and on the boxes of Atkins bars themselves it says you can have the Atkins "treat" bars on any level including induction, and continue to lose. I bought a box of the Nutty Fudge Brownies, and I swear they stop my weight loss. They definitely knock me out of ketosis. I go from the darkest color to no color at all on my ketostix. Anyone else?
