I have been trying to remember that I have lettuce in the fridge, and that I can use them for lettuce wraps.

I know Red Robin has a hamburger lettuce wrap item on their menu. Haven't had one for a while - sounds good. Maybe I will eat there today.

I wrap things in big leaves of lettuce. If necessary you can cut off part of the vein to make it lie flat and roll better.

I ate the Atkins wraps in the 90s. I saw a utube vid where they made cauliflower wraps- looked good!

EXOTEC - Thanks for the reply and info! I am going to go ahead and order some from Julian Bakery because I just have to have something to wrap things in sometimes. Hope they are good.

The Pure Wraps sound really good for crepes and berries - yummy.

I haven't tried the Julian product yet, but I've used other coconut wraps, and love them! Since there's some sort of copyright dispute ongoing at the moment, I can't get my usual brand, unfortunately. I'm not particularly happy with Julian. Their info isn't as accurate as I'd like.

Nevertheless, they're running some sort of special on their wraps at the moment, and I do have a couple packages of their product I'm going to try.

The ones I had been using are (were?) made by "Pure Wraps." Their product is made in plain or curry. They're thin, like a wonton (not eggroll) wrapper... a bit like rice paper, but not so flimsy. They're sturdy enough to work for cold or hot wraps (I've used them with pulled BBQ, and microwaved), and the coconut flavor isn't overwhelming (you can taste it if you try). I've also used them filled up with berries and whipped cream! yum. I'm hooked. I love the things.

I hope the Julian ones work out as well. We'll see.

Maybe this subject has come up before, but I just got an email from Julian Bakery about a product they now have - Low Carb Paleo Wraps.

Has anyone tried these yet? I'd appreciate your feedback.
