Got up and went for a walk with a little jogging thrown in and got groceries. Other than that it hasn't been a productive day. Need to run a couple errands now, and we are grilling cheddar bacon brats for supper, with fresh green beans and maybe some grapes. Yum!

Woubbie - I was doing the same thing as you this weekend - trying to get stains out of hubby's shirts. Nearly every shirt he wore for the last 2 weeks had stains on the belly area. I ended up washing them in the hot water cycle, and decided if that didn't work, they were going bye-bye. But it did work. I usually don't wash them in really hot water because I am afraid they will shrink.
Today, went to grocery store - hubby helped carry everything up. I usually have to do that myself. Went to the local farm to pick apples and they weren't ready for picking. Looks like it might be 2 more weeks. Disappointing!
We're cooking hot dogs today on the grill, and I need to hem up some jeans I bought a month ago. Wonder if they will still fit - I haven't lost a lot of weight, but I have lost inches.

Got up early and took a long walk, then scrambled eggs and chorizo for breakfast. While I was walking I got an idea for a report that will make it easier for teachers to create their intervention groups for reading, I will work on that today. If I get it done and it works the way I want it to, I'll go for a pedicure.
I'm off to a slow start today, but it began with Whiskey standing on me to see if I was awake... :)
No big plans for today but I desperately need to do some housecleaning and chores and get ready for work tomorrow. I still have no pain from the extraction but I yawned big this morning and got a little stab in the jaw hinge. It's a good way to remember all is not normal there yet!
I've been eating soft carby crap and need to apply some time and brains to doing a better job of meal planning this week.
Suzanne, that's a pretty funny mental picture of you two huddled under a dark tree - both dining but you eating smuggled burgers (contraband??)!

I'm doing laundry and sewing projects today. The boys have a bunch of light-colored tee shirts that have stains, so I'm treating, pre-treating, oxy-ing and bleaching the crap out of them. By the end of the day they'll either be wearable again or dust rags.
The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie--deliberate, contrived and dishonest--but the myth--persistent, persuasive and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.
Totally dropped out of diet mode, or even normal living mode over the weekend. I didn't get my big assignment finished at work on Friday; but ended up working through the night until 11:30am on Saturday (a nice 28 hour workday - weeee). After a two hour "nap" I got back up and at it. Then song leading, teaching, and various leadership meetings at church and back at work again. It's been a blur.
But today, despite still working on incorporating all the review comments from my paper, I started with a good breakfast - a nice omelet with leftover shrimp. Yumm. So I'm just going to forget about this past weekend and try to start this week off good. My plan to prepare breakfast food this past Saturday obviously didn't happen; but if I can finish up all the changes in the paper I need soon I'll do that today.
This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Well, the entire population of Quebec was at six flags yesterday! Really hot and long lines. James played in the water park the whole time. But, my husband and older son were in the sun, on line. But, no one complained! Today were were off to this cool outdoor park, but it is pouring rain. I will probably take James to a play area and the boys will go to the movies. A funny story. James wanted to nurse yesterday. So, I find this hidden area under some trees in a corner. I am sitting on the ground , nursing James, and decide now is a good time to eat my burgers. You cannot bring food in the park, so being hidden is perfect. So, we both ate our dinner under a dark tree. Not very glamorous.
