Faith, I have wondered about cortisol too, but I'm not sure that applies to me. In one of our challenges I made getting enough sleep a priority, so I really think I am. And my stress level is way down. I've read so dang much on nutritional requirements, ratios, etc that I'm pretty tired of it. I'd love to be able to eat instinctively for true fueling needs and not for all the wrong reasons (clock, preventative, emotional, etc.)!!

I really think my problem is more calories than my body really wants, but I'd have to track very closely and accurately to figure out what level kept me fueled and not hostile with hunger... LOL Connie, I have wanted to use the 'here's your sign' comment so many times, but it really loses impact after you have to explain it to the slack-jawed "huh?" response!
