I had a full day, but I don't feel exhausted and drained! I am definitely better. Spent the morning at a client's office and then went out to lunch with him and his friend. I ended up buying because he'd had a birthday a couple of days ago!
This afternoon I relaxed in the sun on the deck, read, and hung with my boys. It feels like a weekend! Yay!

I did something similar about 40 years ago. WW said you had to have liver at least once a week, and I was making Liver Chili. Accidentally grabbed the cinnamon instead of the chili powder. I doubt that it hurt it much.

Woubbie, hard to believe band camps are starting already - seems like school just got out!
Had "Breakfast with the Band" this morning - my son started marching band camp on Monday so today they ran through their songs for the parents. It's actually just an excuse to sell us donuts and coffee, and have all the volunteer opportunities to sign up for, as well as a table to buy your spirit wear, DVD pre-orders, and various other fundraisers. I wrote out 4 checks! And we still have registration day AKA "bring your checkbook day" next week. Welcome back to school...
Then went to the Farmer's Market and picked up some cukes, tomatoes and green beans. Got groceries while DH cleaned the house (yay!). And later my DD who heads back to college in a couple weeks is going to the zoo with us. I haven't been there in several years and they've made lots of improvements so it should be fun. We spent a lot of time there when the kids were younger.

Getting my calendar organized for the month and making sure Kyle has his stuff for High School away band camp tomorrow. Have some accounting work to do with Max for college bills and loans and such. Ugh. Been putting it off and it's time to face the music.
Been feeling crappy the last few Saturdays and I think I have it figured out. I let myself stay dehydrated early in the day, and by the time I catch up it's early evening and the day slipped away. I just got two bottles of water and I'm going to try to down them over the next hour and then stay on track for the rest of the day. Hope that fixes it.
Aw Maw- maybe you'll like the new trend! haha 3 g-kids arrive today and then I'm out of town until next Fri- so my contact won't be great. I am hoping for a whirlwind with the 3 girls, then good dr appt at my old town. Make smart choices, peeps.
The day did not start out well, food-wise. I was fixing my yogurt for breakfast. I put the yogurt in the bowl, added the last of the blueberries, ground some flax and added that, and some slivered almonds, and went to add the cinnamon. Unbeknownst to me, Mom had put the chili powder where the cinnamon has been the whole time I've been here. And the chili powder doesn't have a shaker cap. I was able to get most of the chili powder off without having to start all over, and told myself that heat and fruit is the current chic. They do it cooking shows all the time. But it wasn't what I had planned!
Nothing planned for today. Took the dog for a walk and picked up the few apples under the tree. I'd like to get the dining room closet inventoried, and then I'll be done!
