I am dragging today! I managed a dog walk and then got groceries, but all I wanted to do all afternoon was nap. I fought it off and managed to get the laundry started and a few other things done. I don't want to overdo it today because I've got a full week of work ahead of me. I can't wait until I've got the energy and health to work out again! I like energy...

Rocky start to the day, but it got better. I'm still feeling "off" from being sick yesterday. A bit fatigued mostly.
I was having some family over at 1 for a graduation dinner for Max and the house still needed a lot of picking up, since I got almost NOTHING done yesterday. Thankfully my DH handled absolutely ALL the cooking, and we picked easy-peasy foods, so everything that needed to get done got done.
What a pleasant meal! Really enjoyed myself.
I'm planning on having a Saturday evening meal in a week or two for my DH's side of the family to come over as well. It's not that the two sides don't get along, they do, they're just very different styles of socializing, and for me it's more relaxing to sit with smaller groups of people rather than trying to mingle in a big crowd.
Wish I had one more day off but alas, I'm running low on vacation days for the summer and I have to reserve a couple for moving Max to college in a couple of weeks. Sniff.
Gonna miss him.

Hubby and I spent the day in search of the replacement tree for the redbud that we had cut down because it was half dead. Have decided to go with a river birch and will place it in a strategic place to block the neighbors yard.
Looks like we may have some rain coming our way, so hubby is going to put some grub control on the yard before the rain starts.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Sun day, taught 2 classes. One was circuits & that was fun! The other was Deep Water Running & that's a hard class. I was sweating enough to be soaked thru & I was on deck. LOL!
My blood pressure cuff may not be working correctly this a.m. I changed batteries & it still has my pressure extremely HIGH with a low pulse. I did this after I changed light bulbs, drank 2 cups of strong coffee though. I usually take my pressure upon waking. But, if this reading is correct I'll call my doctor Monday. It's high enough for stroking. I know better.
That's my Sunday. I have my food plan set. I'll ride my bike later. I'm hopeful that friends come over this evening for a fire pit. It's cool enough for a jacket.
I'm concerned that my self-esteem may not be as balanced as I led myself to believe. The disruption in class Friday still is a wave thru my aura. I don't deal with unresolved conflicts well. Breathe in . . . breathe out. Connie

Well the wine tasting was fun, very low key. I wasn't sure what to expect, it was at my cousin's home and everyone brought a bottle of wine and an appetizer. It was a pick and choose which ones you wanted to try and pour your own which greatly relieved me. I just wanted one swallow because there are very few wines I actually like enough to drink more of, so it worked out perfectly. I probably tried 10 wines which maybe equals 1 glass total. But I did have some appetizers I shouldn't have, at least they were small. Back on track today.
Off to church and dinner at my parent's house. Another nice cool day so I want to get a long walk in.
