Rocky start to the day, but it got better. I'm still feeling "off" from being sick yesterday. A bit fatigued mostly.
I was having some family over at 1 for a graduation dinner for Max and the house still needed a lot of picking up, since I got almost NOTHING done yesterday. Thankfully my DH handled absolutely ALL the cooking, and we picked easy-peasy foods, so everything that needed to get done got done.
What a pleasant meal! Really enjoyed myself.
I'm planning on having a Saturday evening meal in a week or two for my DH's side of the family to come over as well. It's not that the two sides don't get along, they do, they're just very different styles of socializing, and for me it's more relaxing to sit with smaller groups of people rather than trying to mingle in a big crowd.
Wish I had one more day off but alas, I'm running low on vacation days for the summer and I have to reserve a couple for moving Max to college in a couple of weeks. Sniff.
Gonna miss him.

Challenge 1: Add activity at home to my must-do list.
Challenge 2: Bedtime is now going to be 11:30.
Challenge 3: Leave work on time. It'll all be there in the morning. Whatevs.
