Woubbie, besides the ice pack, I use an old bath towel, wrap it around the middle of the arm & go to bed. * use ace bandage to hold it in place. Then I don't lay on it wrong. One of my PT professionals gave me that clue a few years ago. I've been free from that elbow/wrist pain. If I lift weights it starts to come back . . but I use the stretch of extensors & flexors also.
Summer colds . . . ugh ! I've been missing in action. I was traumatized by the melt down of a member in my class yesterday. I'm still working on my reaction to a person having a rage episode. His melt down was his reaction to the sounds in the pool, his age, his wife is dying & he lashed out at me in front of everyone. Seriously, it scares me & I never can say whatever is necessary to calm them down or meet their needs. Anyway, I had arranged to have a small luncheon after class so I had to keep going. I didn't sleep well last night. I taught a power class this morning. I've been hiding out since then.
I have a new house mate moving in on the 1st. I offer rooms to people that are in a tough spot. It's always an upheaval as they go thru all the furniture to see what would make them comfortable in their room. Anyway, I didn't drink good amount of water yesterday or today. It makes a difference in my food choices.
Ok, so . . .food is still amazingly well. I need more H2O. Sometimes life is messy. LOL! Still stroking! One foot in front of the other and do it over and over and over.
