Wow, Sunday's suddenly almost over! I skippd the dog walk this morning so Whiskey could rest his back, and I worked out instead. I also jammed in about four hours of client work, laundry, and a visit to my mom. I think I got 12 hours of sleep yesterday between Friday night and my long nap during the day. I feel good, but I have a swollen gland under my jawline and suspect there's something swirling around in my system. Need to make an appointment with my dentist (there's also a broken tooth there) and follow up with the doctor... *sigh* Not much coasting through my life right now! LOL

Hi all! I am getting back on track low carb today too. The last couple of days were higher carb than I should have had and not good kind of carbs. Went to Mimi's friday night and sort of caved with their oh so good bread basket. Not lots though. Then yesterday I had a personal pizza from a box (freezer) that was so good. About 80 carbs for that. Otherwise my eating was on plan.
This morning my DH wanted pancakes. So I made them for him and decided to make my MIM into a pancake on the griddle. I used sugar free syrup and put 2 eggs on top, oh and plenty of butter. OH my gosh. Sooooo good. Will probably have chicken salad for lunch and pork chops and spinach for dinner. I am staying in all day today an hubby is gone for the day.

Morning all. My son had a friend sleepover last night, and my daughter was supposed to be sleeping over at a neighbour's, but they brought her back at 1130 because their daughter wouldn't let mine sleep and she was crying with exhaustion (she's 6). She was still up at 7am, so it will be a long day. lol
It is cool and rainy today, which I am good with. I am going to finish up some of the yard work I started yesterday, and hopefully vacuum (the floors need it!)... other than that, just hang out with my little girl. The kids go to their dad's on tuesday (we have shared custody, week me/ week him) so I like to save most of my chores for when they are gone, and focus on them when they are here.
Grandkids and son/wife just left. 3 weeks of fun fun fun. we went to KS city to spend 4 days at Wolf. Got back home and fished for 6 days on river, then spend last week playing/swimming/fishing in lake. Last night was poker night. The 7 yr old went home with a heavy pocket of pennies.
Grandparents are now getting ready for a real nap. I've managed to gain 4 lbs and lose them off/on for 3 weeks. I'm in red by 4 lbs today. What can I say..

Getting back to business with my low carb eating. I've let it slip and slide all over throughout the past few weeks or so. Bacon for breakfast. I brought ground beef and coconut oil for lunch. Also brought a snack of pecans and 85% dark chocolate, just in case. We'll see. I know it'll take me a couple of days to get these stupid carb cravings to go away.... so the dark chocolate helps with that!

Chilly and wet here today- a good day to do house stuff- now if only I could... Couple errands to run, lunch with the fam and then home to hide. The dog seriously needs a run, I guess I'll don the rain jacket and take him for a walk.

Hot already this morning -- only 9:15 and it is 80. Supposed to get up to 103 today. Not much going on today -- puttering around the house and avoiding the heat.
When I was in San Rafael a few weeks ago we went to a Puerto Rican retaurant -- I had a steak and onions dish that was fantastic -- I think I will try an replicate it for dinner tonight.

Humidity dropped here in WI yesterday also. Whew. I could ride my bike & hike & enjoy the outdoors. Killing mosquitoes in a State athletic event. LOL!
I slept 7 hours. WOW! I have 35 minutes before I'm picked up to go the pool & walk run & show my friend how to alleviate pain in his hip that suffers from arthritis.
Food for today should be fine. We were out and about yesterday and my food was good. We did make a veggie stir with turkey for dinner. The veggies were AWESOME.

Church and Sunday school this morning. Our SS is providing a light brunch to encourage folks to attend. I'm taking two quiche so I know there will be something I can eat. Should also be some fruit. Then a group of us are going out for lunch after church. Then to the Y for a swim, and home to clean and get things ready for my trip.
The humidity has dropped, finally. Hopefully, I can take a walk with James this morning. I miss my morning walks. But, I have no desire to go with the humid, hot type weather.
Not sure what our plans are today. Maybe some tennis this morning.
