I don't do grains for the most part, either. I rarely will eat some steel-cut oatmeal. Maybe once a month or less. I sometimes make meatloaf with quick oats, but not very often with that, either. The Atkins (or any other bars) stop my weight loss instantly. And they don't taste that good to me, either.
I cringe every time I hear or see that "healthy grains" nonsense. Don't fall for it!

I ate the bars, I spread eating them out- but I ate them! LOL! I won't be buying any. I do love a Tablespoon of peanut butter! And I have a sweet and low in iced coffee as a splurge.
I don't think I'll ever bring myself to eat wheat flour again, and grains even whole oats would be a stretch. I'm thinking of quinoa when I am at goal.........maybe. But I don't see a need to eat any whole grains, I lost my taste for them!
I got the starter kit, and I thought the bars were too sweet tasting. I was afraid that my body might think it was having real sugar so I threw them away. I would rather have real food like peanut butter and some almonds or a chocolate protein shake for a snack.

Well I think her "Intro" to Atkins letter sounds like she does say anything for a buck. :o( But that's just my opinion. They sent me the pamphlet with the 3 free bars deal they have on their web site when you join.

I saw in my Atkins brochure that Sharon Osbourne says that on Atkins she eats "healthy whole grains"? Are they calling Flax a whole grain? I can't find any whole grains that come to mind in the food list, does anyone know what she's talking about?!!
