Take a look at a number of the threads here and some of the links and books. There are a ton of differences between low-carb and low-fat diets and how they work and it's very important to understand at least the basics of it. The investment of time and effort is worth it. There are no quick fixes here but a huge potential for long-term and forever improvement in body composition and overall health. Cheers, Birgit
I've hit a very, very big plateau and thought Low Carb eating might be just the spark needed to get me moving in the right direction. It's not unusual for me to have a 3-5# gain in a week only to take 2 or 3 weeks to lose the weight... If I added it together, I've lost a whole person this year. Am I on the right track?
I'm moving steadily toward my goal. doing low fat and carbs for now.
