I don't like water at all, and to drink enough to not get dehydrated I have to plan it out, remind myself to drink, and give myself incentives to get enough in. It is amazing to me that on the weekends I STILL forget to drink enough, and will find myself grazing for food instead of guzzling some water. I definitely "read" the thirst signal as hunger and apparently always have, so the idea of drinking when thirsty simply doesn't work. That pathway is broken.
My guideline is color. :) If I've drunk enough to make my urine very pale yellow then I'm on track.
I decided to LOSE weight and now my pants are LOOSE.
The EFFECT did not AFFECT my desire to LOSE more.
