Russell, I'll send you a few degrees of our 96+ degree weather here the past few days... We're used to about low to mid 80's this time of year - and for most of our summers... When we get to over 90, they consider it hot weather...
Connie, Maybe your protein shake doesn't have enough protein in it?? I find that when I use the ones that are less than 15 grams, they don't do as well. I enjoy them for my breakfast or my dinner quite often. I usually have more protein in mine in the morning than I do in the evenings.
Today hasn't been so well as far as eating goes... but it will be better tomorrow. I did like y ou Suzanne, I grilled about 10 burger patties today, so have some stockpiled for a quick one!!
EWEFLUFFY IS NOW KICK-SS
TODAY IS THE TOMORROW YOU WORRIED ABOUT YESTERDAY. GET ON WITH IT!!

Tuesday is Good. I ingested my protein shake this morning. I've still been kind of shakey most of the day. I've increased my meat and put more water into this body system. I was able to get some of my computer stuff cleaned up. My warm water arthritis class was wonderful since I got in the water with the class. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Tomorrow will be a GREAT energy filled day! My thoughts are full of hope & happiness.
Hugs to Surround Us All as a Group! Connie, in WI The pleasant thought for me today is LUCKY. Show Up Today. Set my shoulders. Put On a Smile And DO IT
We have been struggling to get to 80 all summer. Most days are in the 70;s, and we had a bunch of rainy days in the 60's this past week. The nights are sometimes chilly enough for me to turn on the heat.

I'm trying to work and balance my time between getting current stuff done and working on the year end stuff. My head is elsewhere! Where is it, you may ask, and I'm wondering right there with you. I don't know where it is either. Everyone here went "to lunch" or "to do errands" and it's very quiet - I'd like to take a nap!!
Maw, I would love to have some of your rain!! It's not as hot here today, but it's still really dry and about 80. That kind of weather always makes me nervous around the 4th.
Heidi, it's hard to watch a pet age! My little Chaser has been less active than usual and I'm blaming the weather but I also know he's older than he acts most of the time (he's a rescue with a mystery history). All we can do is love them now.
Back to whatever I was doing...

Raining, windy and dark. Quite gloomy- looks like October.
At work and am BORED. It isn't like I have nothing to do- I don't feel like doing any of it. I ate some pork rinds and bleu cheese dressing and not sure I was even hungry. Been making a short shopping list that I can pick up at lunch (for something to do). Trying to devise a semi-legit excuse to get the heck out of here for the day and start again tomorrow.
My kitty is 16 and is starting to age- until a few months ago you'd never know she was that old. I'd get a kitten now but that would most assuredly do her in- she has has no problems with us brining home dogs, macaws, chickens or what have you but we got a kitten once years ago and she didn't talk to me the entire time we had him. The nieghbors German shortahired pointer got the kitten and before we'd even realized he was gone, Custard was right back to her loving self. She sleeps with me every night, all night. She'll hang in my sewing room with me and the dog, she hangs on the back of the chair when I'm in the kitchen- ordinarily cats our only our semi-faithful furry companions but she is better than the dog at this point (he's a baby so he still has learning to do).
1. Stop wasting time! Save Money!
2. Get organized- mise en place as the French say.

My animals make me happy, some people not so much- a bumper sticker
Library this morning, then home for the rest of the day.
We are absolutely waterlogged around here, and I think there's rain predicted for today and tomorrow. In fact, I just looked out my window and it's raining. I wish I could send it to some of you out West!
I took the cats to the Shelter yesterday, and they aren't big enough to stay there. I get to keep them for another week or so! It's great to have them longer, but they are definitely guests, not permanent lodgers.
