OK, here's a start on the August challenge. Someone can edit/add to it as you see fit and then post a new thread.

The Simplify August Challenge – Keep It Simple!
This is a month to examine our daily routines - to simplify our lives in any areas that need it or to make some simple goals to work on. Small, simple goals are the easiest to make into long term habits. Don’t overthink this, just pick one or more things that are simple to do or look at areas that are currently frustrating you and try to come up with a different, simpler way of doing it. Post here if you need help or have ideas to share.

July 31:
1. Walk - yes
2. Write in gratitude journal every day - yes
3. 3 servings veggies - yes
4. Carbs under 40 - yes

Ended July on a good note and I wrote my first blog post last night. Maw, it sounds like you've had a productive time and I'm glad you've gotten help for your mom with cleaning. My sister's in-laws refuse help and they badly need it, so sad that they're living in filth.

July was not a great month challenge-wise. But it could have been a whole lot worse eating- and weight- and exercise-wise! I'm hoping I got all the problems out of my life in general last month, too. At least the computer is working pretty well. We'll see how the fridge is working when I get back.

Thanks for hanging in there with me, everyone!

Where's our Woubbie?? She's the best at writing up challenges!

Maw, sounds like you have churned through a ton of work at your mom's house!

I'm still blowing my nose, but I'm not exhausted by 2:00 anymore. I came home from work and then went over to a client's office for several hours. We did some of his bookkeeping but then we also talked about the new business he will be opening in November or so, and I get to start writing up policies! I love writing projects like that, but I want my laptop fixed or replaced so I don't have to sit in here at the computer... :)

Today was kind of a bust for me in terms of my challenge goals - I did a dog walk, ate on target, and got enough sleep last night, but no exercise and I still feel like I want more sleep! That's where I'm headed now!

I've been thinking about the August challenge and went to a blog that I read occasionally because he writes about simplifying. This post really got me thinking about my daily chai habit...which I have stubbornly refused to consider giving up. It is LC, but is costing me more than I'd like to think about.

Connie, it's very normal to lose lots the first couple of weeks and then get stuck for a while. It's called the Post Induction Stall. Good for you to keep powering through it! And congratulations on the latest pound!

Someone want to write up the August Challenge and post it?

On the side of my refreg I have a poster: Keep It Simple Sugar!
I finally lost a pound. I lost the 17# the first 2 weeks and now it's taken another 2 weeks to drop 1#.
Stay the course. I need to shop for more chicken & fish. The pork ribs were on sale and are delicious. My oldest son & his oldest son are coming today to move furniture, take apart cribs, hang drapes, fix fans, sinks & hang clothes bars & hooks.
Tomorrow the Fruit guy comes with his peaches & blueberries. I'll purchase blueberries & freeze them.
Ready . . . set . . . .Gooooooooooo! Celebrate! Hello August! Connie

Hugs to Surround Us All as a Group! Connie, in WI

Simple it is- We can share ideas, set simple goals, and basically make our lives easier so we have more time for us!

Food yesterday was so/so. You can never know what you'll be served at the Evil Russian's house. Her DH's German family is going back home (Canary Islands) today so we had a bon voyage for them. I really like baba ganoush with just a spoon- no carb carrier needed. German potato salad is pretty good too- despite the fact it has potatoes in it.

I like simple, too. How about keeping it simple - The Simple August Challenge. Simply do what needs to be done.

Walked the dog again this morning. Longer walks every day! Food has been pretty good. Have most of the house inventoried. Just need to do the kitchen (lots and lots of cupboards), the dining room closet (used for storing all kinds of stuff), and Mom's room.

I found a place that provides services to seniors to help them stay independent. It's called Comfort Keepers. Anyone know anything about them? I've heard good things about them in Bloomington, but don't know anything about the one here. They're supposed to call this morning. Mom says to have them come once a week to clean. I hope she'll like them. She's pretty particular. We'll start with light housekeeping, and add services as needed. They do everything up to and including 24 hour a day service, but don't do anything medical. Shopping, driving, cleaning, cooking, laundry, companion visits, that sort of thing. When I talked to them yesterday I said that I wanted someone to come in and clean for Mom and also keep an eye on her and let me know if there seem to be any problems. I told Mom that, and she's ok with it. We'll see.

I really like the keep it simple idea too! Maybe we can share things we do to make our way of eating/lifestyle easier for us and that might help someone else too.

July 29:
1. Walk - once at work and also a nice long one with DH
2. Write in gratitude journal every day - yes
3. 3 servings veggies - yes
4. Carbs under 40 - yes, finally

I know I'm way beyond handling a complicated challenge, so I'm in favor of something simple. Like Simple Progress in August? Awesomely Simple August? KISS August?? LOL

Monday:

1) self-care: uh, does blowing ones nose count?? Bleh.
2) sleep: I'm sleeping REALLY well, but this is due to a 10 mg dose of amitriptyline, 25 mg of benedryl, and a bedtime dose of NyQuil caps!!

emoticon

3) food - dead on because I have no energy to stray!
4) fitness - dog walk and nuthin' else!

I'm better today - only had three major coughing fits at work that had tears spraying out of my eyes... But I made it all day and didn't need a nap! :)

National Simplify Your Life Week gets my vote. Now, what's the challenge?

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?

Simplify would be nice, but I'd have to take it in limited amounts. My free time is really iffy in August, and possibly into September this year.

How about making August be all about simplifying things? Kind of like the magazine Real Simple? Organize, declutter, simple foods, that sort of thing? Get everything all ready to go before we have to shut it all up for fall/winter. Just a thought.

I'm alive only because I didn't go with the Evil Russian. My hub was home for a single day and was going to do a bunch of stuff for me and he didn't, that left me to do it all, plus with my trip looming, I had other things far more pressing (mani/pedi), facial, pressing clothes I refer to as resort wear because they never come out of the closet unless I'm going on a trip- I wear Levis, New Balance and sweaters to work so never drag the good stuff out.

Well, Maw if you're going to go off plan, at least fruit has vitamins and good stuff in it! I find I eat more fruit in the summer anyway, it's in season and delicious. Unfortunately I ate off plan yesterday too, and it wasn't fruit. NO MORE.

July 28:
1. Walk - yes, a nice long one with DH
2. Write in gratitude journal every day - yes
3. 3 servings veggies - yes
4. Carbs under 40 - no

I've been thinking about August too, I still struggle to eat my veggies and get to bed on time too so I think those be on the list.

Back home to Mom's place. It was a very quick trip with almost as much time in the car as up there. Well, 20 hours in the car to 36 hours up there. Ugh. Coming back took forever, what with road construction and slow motion charlies who refused to pull over even when there were well over a dozen cars behind them on 2 lane highways. Oh well. We made it home safely, and that's what matters. I spent most of the last 3 hours eating and drinking to stay awake.

Food was ok. My SIL was willing to be supportive, but has no idea what low carb is about. She understands the concept, but not the details. Like she assumed that garbanzo beans were ok because they were mostly protein, and that I would be able to have fruit. Actually, I did have fruit. Too much fruit. Mom got some fruit here, and then we all went to the Farmers Market in Moscow and got more fruit. I overindulged. But I'm back on the straight and narrow starting tonight. Except probably for blueberries.

Meh here too. Yesterday didn't count for anything, too sick. Today did well on veg. Hopefully will be OK on sleep - last night was pretty good.

I keep pulling a Governor Rick Perry this month. Can't ever remember that third thing.

emoticon

Housekeeping! Yup. God Bless FlyLady. I woke up prepared to be upset cause I didn't get anything cleaned up yesterday and no one jumped in to help. So I moped around this morning while I cleaned an put away and then I was done. Bam! Turns out there was hardly anything that needed doing!

What can we do for August that is really simple? I want to keep working on the two things I CAN remember all the time - sleep and veg. And nothing much else.

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:

Meh, I'm not ready to think about August yet!! I'm dragging myself through the end of July with my lips...

Sunday:

1) self-care - I made an overly long To Do list today and in the interest of saving my sanity and physical health, I chose to ignore half of it...

2) sleep - been getting enough but I think I still need more!

3) food - not too bad but I haven't tracked while I've been sick.

4) fitness - meh.

I forgot to post yesterday for Friday's goals, and I can't remember how I did except that I did do 2 walks.

July 27:
1. Walk - no
2. Write in gratitude journal every day - yes
3. 3 servings veggies - yes
4. Carbs under 40 - no

That wine tasting did me in...too much carbage but it could have been much worse. Need to do a long walk today.

I went home from work early yesterday and did a face plant on my bed!! Didn't move again until about 8:00... The good news is that I worked all day with a client today, went out for a late lunch with him, and then came home and took the boys to the vet! I'm not exhausted!! I think I'm definitely recovering. :)

Can't write out all the details for today. Gotta go to bed! But I did pretty well on everything except exercise - I think that would be pushing it.

I'm back (more or less). Between 'last chance' training and running back and forth to Mom's house because she's down with an infection, I haven't had much time to spend on line the last few days. But Mom is better and I have a day off! Starting the elders fishery tomorrow, and while that requires a fair amount of supervision, I should be able to break away fairly often.

Connie, I am usually too blasted tired at the end of the evening, like last night, I was reading when I remembered I hadn't taken my makeup off. . .I laid there anyway. No sun face for me today. I did read for an hour though (since I didn't get up!) emoticon Got my water in emoticon Productivity, yep, a mountain of laundry folded and put away. I don't kknow where it all comes from but there is always a ton of it. By the time I've gathere it, sorted it, washed it (iincluding deciding if it needs bleach, fabric softener etc), dried it and pulled it out, the laundry and I have spent far too much time together. emoticon .

Woubbie- I know you don't like cooking but spend 1 day at it and do several things at once so you can just pull it out. The spaghetti squash will make a few servings, cook it and drain the crap out of it and put it in little containers or bag and freeze. You can just grab one and the same with sauce (that you also made), or butter and parm. Make the faux twice stuffed potatoes and freeze them. The caulimac & cheese- ditto. Eggplant parm (EASY), freeze it with some Classico Marinara. Make chicken salad from a rotisserie chicken, add pecans, celery, onion, parsley & mayo, put in little containers. Serve over a bed of shredded greens (different lettuces, herbs). For something different, curry the mayo. If you have a few carbs to spare, a little pineapple cut up into tiny pieces will spread out therough the salad so every bite gets some. Take chicken breasts, pound the snot out of them, line with a bit of cheese- I like havarti and some arugula or spinach. Roll, sprinkle with pork rind crumbs and bake- freeze. I am the cook in the family and I like to cook so for me it's easy- I make 4 meals or servings at a time and freeze what I don't use or eat that night. It's a bit harder when the hub is home- that man can seriously eat (and never gain an ounce) so I have to snag my stuff while I'm right there or he'll eat it.

Leslie, considering your sick, take a couple suns anyway!

That's the great thing about dogs, they just love you no matter what you look like or how you're feeling. Hope you get some good rest and get better!

July 25:
1. Walk - yes, twice
2. Write in gratitude journal every day - yes
3. 3 servings veggies - no
4. Carbs under 40 - no, had chicken nachos at book club

Woubbie, I kind of do that with my veggies - I buy the ones that are mostly cut up and in a ready-to-eat form (broccoli, radishes, snap peas, baby carrots, etc), put them in vented containers (Tupperware's veggie storage - stuff lasts for weeks!), and then take some of them to work every day. When it's right there in front of me I'm much more likely to eat it.

I'm still sick - came home early but managed to get some key things done. I'm not even going to list all my goals out - I came up short or half a bubble off of plum on most of them. I'm better but I just want to hold still... Very still. With my eyes closed. I hope I look stoic but I suspect I just look miserable. Then again, only the Schnauzers have seen me and they never comment on my looks.

The nasal spray is calling me...

Ugh, Kris. I hate all that cloak and dagger and "because we said so" crap. We get handed that from the Memphis branch on a regular basis.

Still paddling along and not doing my veggies enough. Today I might almost make it. I've been spending a little time thinking over what would make this "doable" and, as I walked through ALDI's produce department I realized the hangup. The only way to guarantee I'll eat 3 servings is to pick fruit and veg that I will eat raw and that lasts in the fridge a few days. That is actually very helpful because it narrows down my shopping list and my choices considerably.

For instance, more often than not, some color of peppers is on my daily veg list. At work I keep some in the fridge with some whipped cream cheese for snacks; at home my DH cooks with them (and onions) pretty frequently.

Spaghetti squash, even though I love it, will stay at home for days and days. If DH makes it for dinner I'll go back for seconds, but I almost NEVER bring it to work.

So. I have my task before me, I just need to execute it and see if August turns out more sunny. :)

emoticon

EDIT: I did end up getting 3 veg today, almost got enough sleep (elbow pain woke my early, but I did get to bed on time), only housekeeping I did was dish-washing though. So, one sun it is.

July 24:
1. Walk - yes
2. Write in gratitude journal every day - yes
3. 3 servings veggies - no, had 2 servings of fruit and 1 veggie
4. Carbs under 40 - not exactly sure, but close if not

OK, my first day back at work was going so well, then I had a meeting with the supervisor of the department I support (I'm in IT). And got handed a project to test that sounds like will be implemented whether or not I say it's easily doable or a PITA...and as it affects our health benefits I am sworn to secrecy and cannot even tell my boss (not that I want to, he will go ballistic). We are nearing go-live of a huge software conversion, he's stressed and will not be happy about the additional resources this change will require. Supposedly he will be told today...I hope so as I don't like keeping secrets from my boss.

AKHEIDI, I love your goal of washing your face at night. I now have added that to my daily routine. It makes a difference. I get some tired (or lazy) that I didn't always take off my make-up or even wash my face at night. Thank you. Connie emoticon

Well, the mystery of the swollen lymph node is solved - I'm sick! It just came on in a different way than usual. Very sore throat, sinus headache... WAH!!!

In other news:

1) self-care - nada
2) sleep - went to bed on time but had a restless night. It was a quality issue (no control) rather than a quantity issue (did every thing right!).
3) food - right on target! Amazing how not having an appetite can make a difference...
4) fitness - short, slow dog walk

Despite on a couple days of slips ups and looking back, even those weren't that bad, I was up a bit on the scale and felt bloated. One of the supplements I'm taking is glucomannan so I'm getting the fiber so that shouldn't be an issue. Anyway, I go on vacation next Wednesday and I want to look AND feel Hot, Hot, Hot so I'm doing the Fat Fast for a couple days to see if I can shed a few pounds. We'll see how this works, although I like everything on the list, 1. it isn't much food and I like to eat. 2. I like my veggies and get tired of meat/cheese/cream/meat all the time. I'm big into variety so 3 days will probably be about it for me.

A good day yesterday. It cooled off enough to sleep with the windows open last night and is cooler today too, high around 80 - perfect weather. I have banana bread in the oven to take to work tomorrow as a thank you to my co-worker who covered for me and some for the rest of my department too. Going to go outside and read for awhile in the sun.

I hope they can get that lymph node fixed, Lesley.

Things are looking up around here. At least nothing has broken in the past couple of days!

I took my foster cat back yesterday and was told that all four of my kittens have been adopted. Mama Cass is still there, but kittens usually go faster than older cats.

Food has been so-so. The right foods (or at least not the wrong ones), but not necessarily in the right combinations or quantities. Way too low on veggies.

I leave tomorrow morning at 5:40 to start my trek back to Idaho for two weeks. Roughly 8 hours from here to Mom's place, including driving to the airport, sitting around in airports, and actually flying. Then Friday we're driving 9 or 10 hours to my brother's place in Northern Idaho, and back again on Sunday. Ugh.

I may not be in communication as much over the next two weeks, but should be back about 8/7. If not, please send out the search parties!

Have a great couple of weeks. It's practically the end of summer! I think the public schools start here 8/5.

Speaking of which, it's almost the end of July and we need an August challenge. Will someone take responsibility for seeing that we get something up and running? Thanks.

Yesterday food was good. I didn't eat all that I had set out. I'm satisfied with what I eat. My calorie count is still low.

I took all my supplements yesterday.

I taught 2 classes & the area that I stand is in shade. That is an improvement. It makes life manageable. I can run around & push off without feeling nauseous.

My sleep was good. I didn't get out of bed once during the night. That's unusual and I probably didn't drink enough water after teaching.

I teach 3 classes in warm water today. If my classes aren't HUGE, I'll get in the water & treat my hips to calm & healing.

I have a date late afternoon. We are going to a favorite restaurant of mine. They have a scallop berry salad with balsamic vinegar. Yummmmm!

My positive thought for the day: Open mind, open aura.

Enjoy the day. Connie emoticon

I'm dragging and not feeling so great. A lymph node under my jawline is really swollen so something's going on in my system. I'm going to take it easy on myself until I feel better.

1) self-care - meh
2) sleep - not enough!
3) food - on target but too high in calories
4) fitness - slow and easy dog walk and nothing else!

I suck! Started off good but went down hill after. The boy got a big thing of nachos, I only had a few. My friend L got halibut & chips, I only had a few. The kids had lobster bisque in a bread bowl, I only had a few bites. I had a Caesar salad and picked out most of the croutons, I only had a few. Then there was beer- my downfall. Wasn't even the Michelob swill, this was the good local stuff.

I didn't wash my face, I forgot my supplementsI wasn't productiveI didn't read/garden or sew and I don't think I got the water in and only 2 veg.

Sunday I purposely ate bad carbs & went buckets over my food plan.
I miss my adult children & their children. Two sets of the families answered my phone & FaceTime, Skype . . . whatever . . . . one set . . . still fill their lives & leave me out. Breathe in . . breathe out.

Anyway, my thinking is that my body may not be getting enough calories. Since my body didn't lose any additional weight. I put in some comfort foods yesterday. Dealt wwith a tummy ache. Dealt with digestive intestinal movements. More carbs & calories once a month may kick (shock) my body into functioning again.

Today, I'm attempting to eat more calories which means more servings of protein. I'm eating my spinach & lettuce. The EVOO counts a lot of calories. Last week was my easy week at teaching. This week will be my extreme teaching week. I'm adding more chia seeds to my fluids.

Breathe in . . . breathe out . . . This is my decision. It's new for me and it seems to easy to stay in low carbs. For my activity level my fear is that my body furnace is shutting down & fearful of starvation so it doesn't burn stored fat.

Questions, concerns, I don't have enough information to handle all the changes in my eating, carbs & calories.

Thank you all. My positive thought for today: Hang in There! Information will make sense soon. Connie emoticon

I managed to avoid further carbage last night! Back on track today.

July 20:
1. Walk at least twice a day - just once. I will be deleting this goal once I go back to work on Wednesday.
2. Write in gratitude journal every day - yes
3. Make a little progress on some of the things I wanted to work on while home - yes, worked on figuring out the new budgeting/tracking system I switched to.
4. 3 servings veggies - yes
5. Carbs under 40 - no

Cloe has slowed down considerably in the last month. On our walks she is lagging behind me after about 10 minutes so I've been taking her for a short walk and then stopping at home to drop her off, then continuing a little more without her. Mostly she just sleeps, we've been cuddling on the couch a lot. She's sleeping better at night though.

Whiskey IS better and was bouncing and crashing all over like normal this morning, but skipped the walk to let it rest. I can tell it's still bothering him so I may still have to take him to the vet later this week. We'll see...

1) self-care - not so much today. However, I did let myself sit down and watch CBS's Sunday morning (part of it) before hitting the ground running!

2) sleep - got about 8 hours last night!

3) food - darn good! However, I did have a bite of a friend's gigantic baked goodie that was sorta Almond Rocha-ish... Not enough to send me off the rails! :)

4) fitness - no dog walk, but I worked out at home.

Poor Whiskey, hope he's feeling better!

July 20:
1. Walk at least twice a day - no because it was raining when I got up so only did my evening walk
2. Write in gratitude journal every day - yes
3. Make a little progress on some of the things I wanted to work on while home - yes, recovered my desk chair
4. 3 servings veggies - yes
5. Carbs under 40 - no

I must admit that I didn't eat well yesterday and blew it today big time - dessert and chips. Trying to salvage the remainder of the day even though there are still carbs calling my name. I have to remember it's never to soon to jump back on track and waiting until tomorrow will only make it worse...

So much for a relaxing weekend. My BFF came over on Friday and was all wound up about everything and would not go home. I finally said stay and make yourself comfortable, I'm about to drop and am going to bed. Around 11 I was asleep. Then the hot/cold/pee cycle commenced. The hub got to WA and their voyage began, he called to let me know they were underway, thing is, it was only 5:00 am. I couldn't go back to sleep. Then it was shopping, the BFF returned to work on a quilt I'm helping her with, I had some cooking to do because my kids were coming for a salmon BBQ. We've been trying to do more family time because he's getting deployed in September and every minute counts. Today is Mt. Roberts but I'm NOT walking, we're taking the tram up for lunch.

Yesterday was bad with all the running and commotion. I didn't earn a single sun. Today will be better!

Maw, I'm on your side. I'll continue to send you energy!
No teaching today. My friend and I are going to the warm water pool to walk & help his arthritis in hip.
We'll bike later if the rain holds off.

I've still not lost any more pounds since last Thursday. My daily carbs are about 25 to 40. I must be ingesting additional carbs that I haven't counted. I'll read more regarding low carbs
this week.

Ready, set GO! Connie

Calm down, Leslie...

Saturday:

1) self-care - by default I ended up reading and napping most of the day. I'm assuming I really needed to do both!

2) sleep - thought I did great last night, but I sat down on the sofa and couldn't keep my eyes open! I think I napped for about four hours in a kinda sitting up position... SO glad I live alone and didn't have witnesses (Schnauzers don't count - they are very accepting!).

3) food - surprisingly well. Felt like I ate badly but when it was all tracked it didn't look so bad! Shows me again how little I should trust my own head when it comes to food.

4) fitness - dog walk and nothing else. Whiskey's back went out part way through our walk and he was in bad pain all the way back to the car. I gave him some pain meds I had on hand from the last time this happened and a couple hours later he was clearly feeling better. No dog walk tomorrow though...

The new plumber came this afternoon and fixed the leak. He had to cut a hole in tbe drywall under the leaky faucet so he could get to the pipe, take off the whole faucet mechanism and valve and everything and cap it off. And he charged less than the first plumber. I do plan to write to the first company and see whether I can get a refund. Or write to the BBB.

I got a good night's sleep last night for the first time in what seems like forever. It makes a big difference in how I feel.

Thunder and lots of rain today, and it cooled things off a lot. I had the house open so I got some fresh air even though it brought a lot of humdity too. I do like fresh air!

Mmmmm. If you had a dehydrator, Nay, you could make dried plums. I hear they're really good.

I'm more or less throwing in the towel on tracking here this month. I give!

I'll still check in here every day, but more to mull over what I'm working on than to give myself a "sticker".

I really haven't spent enough time figuring out how to get more veg and fruit in and it shows. I make myself prepare all my other meals and snacks, so what's up with the plant kingdom? I thought it was simply a shopping issue, but obviously that's only part of the problem.

On the brighter side, I have been doing better with getting more sleep this month - noticeably better. I'm nowhere near where I need to be (6 hours a night is still not enough) but I have a handle on how to keep making improvements, and I can tell that it's affecting my energy positively.

But on the less bright side, I'm fighting off some anxiety and depression issues and I'm sometimes throwing food at the issues, (like that's going to help or something). I HAVE actually made some progress on what's eating me this week, so hopefully I will turn things around and stop eating so much junk. Only a couple more big items on the big-to-do-list that is my life right now. I'm hoping that when they're resolved I can ratchet my stress levels back down again.

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?

Maw, your fridge dilemma makes me want to sue someone (or smack them).

I am eating plums this weekend. The plums on Mom's tree are ripening, and they're only good for about a week, so I'm going free rein on them. They won't be here next weekend. That poor tree had so many plums that two of the branches broke.

((Hugs, Maw)) Not sure what to say, except I hope this fridge frustration passes soon.

We are having friends over for lunch after church tomorrow and the house is a disaster! So taking one room at a time to put things away, dust, wipe down appliances. DH said he would vacuum, sweep and mop later (I'm still not supposed to). Most of the food is ready to go. So glad I deep cleaned before surgery, it's mostly just clutter that I've been lazy about taking care of.

July 19:
1. Walk at least twice a day - yes
2. Write in gratitude journal every day - yes
3. Make a little progress on some of the things I wanted to work on while home - not really
4. 3 servings veggies - yes
5. Carbs under 40 - I don't think so, too much fruit

OK. Here's the cat litter you need for your troubled kitties:

Petsmart has it and probably most other reputable pet supply stores. We had the same problem with our two cats when we adopted them and the litter solved the problem litter-ally overnight. (Sorry for the pun!)
