I have to agree that food taste different now. I can taste the med that gose in my breathing treatment now and its not good.

Definitely. Real food is the only stuff that tastes normal to me now. Everything else tastes "off" in one way or another.

I used to love fries and hashbrowns at the different fast food places and now if I take a bite, they just taste awful. Maybe it isn't that they have changed but it is that our tastes have changed!

It's great to have an insider source of info. I found out just recently that they can add and delete any ingredient on any menu item. Since then I ask for my double quarter pounder without cheese or bun and they put it on lettuce.

I was never impressed with McDonald's salads... Actually, I don't care for much of anything at mcDonalds and don't go there any more. Their french fries used to be good years ago until they changed oils or whatever they did.

I know here in my town they cook the grilled chicken different then the one in the town away. I have family that works at them and they talk about how things are done.

you could be right, I've been wondering if different Mc Donald's indeed have very different stuff, maybe different supplier for some stuff in different parts of the country. I'm glad what you can get is better. I've tried all 3 types of salads and they were all horrible here.

I agree the salad dressing has way to many carbs in it that is why I only had half. I could have used the whole packed easy but I did not.

I think the salads have great stuff in them. Maybe your store don't get the same stuff as mine. I know that each store is suppose to be the same but they are not. Or maybe it was the kind of salad you got, thye each have a different salad mix in them the best I can tell.

My main problem with the salads at McDonald's is the very inferior quality of the produce. It's mostly pale green leaves of old lettuce without any flavor, just not worth eating since there's no nutrition in that stuff. I like dark green lettuces, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, sliced radishes, celery etc. in my salads. For the stuff they put in there it is way over-priced. Any salad bar at a fast food restaurant is likely better.
I have not looked but suspect that there may be additives even in the grilled chicken breast.

I love McDonald's Chicken Bacon Ranch salad with the grilled chicken, it's one of the best fast food salads I've had. Only trouble is the Newman's Ranch dressing has 10 grams of carbs! I bought a bottle of Ranch with 1 or 2 grams and keep it in the fridge at work so I can use that instead.

I have never heard of that one. you what it might be good tho. Yes the meat dose have lots of sodium in it for sure thats why I picked the salad instead. For I would have to have two bunless burgers and I did not think it was worth the sodium for me.

You they problem have more sodium than it says also. My son works there and he says they pour salt all over them while they are cooking. So really they cant say just how much is in a pattie.

I was shocked at just how much salt is in those patties! You can REALLY taste it when you take the bun away. The chicken salad sounds like the best deal there, I'll have to remember that for the next time.

My older one likes what is colloquially known as the "McDank". You get a McDouble and a McChicken. Open up the McDouble and put the McChicken sandwich (with out without its bun) between the double patties. Put it back together and voila! McDank. Two bucks. Some starving college student surely must have come up with that one!

I have to watch the sodium if I go over like 2,000 a day my feet swell up for days.

I had a bacon ranch grilled chicken salad. I ate all the chicken but only about half of the salad mix. I used one half of packet of the dressing.

I like the thing on the website because if you want a burger and only eat the meat you can see just what is in the meat with or without the cheese. I thought about getting a burger and without the bun but I did not this time.

I have to say they have the air turned down in there today. It was so cold we could not stay long.

I'd recommend ordering without the bun. I do that with sausage mcmuffins, that way I don't lose my cheese on the muffin.

High sodium is a good thing.

McDonalds ok I know its not a good ideal to eat here but I have 6 year olds and sometimes I must let them have a treat like this. Its only us three tonight and they ask for a happy meal and to play games. So I go to the McDonalds website to see what might be a good choice for me. They have this great tool on there where you can brake down a salad, burger or anything and see what the numbers are in the food for each item that is in it. www.mcdonalds.com/us/en/full_menu_ex

The Sodium is high on everything tho even salad Click on the food and then the tiny words nutrition to the left under the picture of the food and you cab see just what is in each food that makes of the item. So if you want to pull the bun off you can still know just what you are eating number wise.
