I buy this very thn sliced meat they sell for fondue. It is very lean too. I do mine in the oven, low heat. I have added various spices. Play around with it, see what you like. Google recipes too.

So, yes, investing in a food dehydrator might be worth it. Does anyone have a good recipe they have had success with? emoticon

Suzanne,
I need help in this department for sure. I have a food dehydrator but never used it for that. How do you do it? (flavoring, cut of meat, drying time, storage etc.)

I LOVE beef jerky but find myself running in to not being able to find any in the supermarkets that aren't made with sugar and brown sugar.

Has anyone had any luck or am I going to have to order online?

Happy Monday all!
