Well today was laid back. My dad and stepmom took me to dinner for my birthday (it was yesterday, I turned 40!). And as an added bonus, my stepmom just happened to have the books 'Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution' AND 'The NEW Atkins For A New You'!! She gave them to me b/c she knows I'm doing low carb and they it's working. She just happened to have them b/c she said she tried it a couple years back and it made her sick. What is so great is that I was going to go on Amazon and buy them but now I don't have to! Yay! Only somewhat negative thing today is that my 'bad knee' (my right one) is hurting today and going up into my hip. It was hurting yesterday too. Sucks. I'll be glad when I can get that issue straightened out so I can do more exercises.

Yay! Kris is back! And, yeah, Woubbie's hair grew too!
I'm home for the rest of the day after doing one simple errand in town that had me stuck in horrendo bridge detour traffic. Then I tried to run away from it all on backroads and ran into freakin' PARADE traffic! Gads. It was an annual event here called Berry Dairy Days (yup, a lotta farmland around here) and the parade was over but there were cars and pedestrians all over the place - no road rules. I'm SO glad I'm home.
I'm working on client stuff the rest of the day, and then I want to go play a little with some art supplies. I need to churn out some serious work first though.

Too bad WoW doesn't have more styles with bangs. I always try to update "Woubbie" to wear more or less what I'm wearing, and I nearly always have bangs. ("Fringe", in case ADZY or one of the other Britishers is reading!)
Well, graduation went well, and we all have the day off. I'm still in pj's at 1:30 and don't really care.
My son's school has a big event on graduation night called Blast Off, where the kids come back to the school at 11pm and they hang out and do fun stuff until about 4:30 in the morning, at which time their weary parents come and retrieve them. I was up for a couple of hours and then had to lie back down and catch up on a few hours of missed sleep.
Max said he had a great time. About half of the graduating seniors went, and it was mostly "the positive kids". LOL! Does that mean nerds only? Yeah, buddy.
Only thing on my chore list today is to pack up the sundry school papers from this year - I make them hang on to everything in case they need stuff to study for finals, but they never do, so time to recycle!
