Well, my car window is still stuck in the down position. I take it in tomorrow to be fixed. So I tried to run my errands in the morning because I didn't want to run my a/c with the window being down, but by noon - it was hotttt! So I ran the a/c anyway.

Happy Hump Day! I had an hour long conversation with my Danish counterpart from the home office yesterday, and got told in so many words that my American style of accounting is subpar and "wrong". Hmpfff.
Then this morning one of our local guys verbally lashed out because his company credit card is maxed out and got rejected while he was traveling. Gads. Turns out the credit card company still has not received the request to increase his credit limit, so our local banker is pushing that through. I decided I'm not calling Hostile Guy back because he was MEAN. He decided that everything he perceives as miserable about his life was my fault. It should be funny, but so far I'm still just tired. I do not handle others' anger very well, and when it is unreasonably directed at me I handle it less well!
I have an appointment with my skincare client this afternoon, so I'm leaving work early (not necessary but definitely deserved!) and will drive slowly, breathe fresh air (if it's not raining through my sunroof), and enjoy a decadent (normally very expensive) chemical peel facial!

Hot and very muggy here today. We all stayed in bed late today even the twins, which is odd for Alex is usually up with the chickens. My oldest son(19) started a new job so he asked me to go pick up some stuff for him to pack for lunch so we need to run to walmart but we are slow at getting going.
I was happy with the scale this morning I am down 3 pounds this week. I hope it keeps going for I was getting up set at the stall I was in. I go to the arthritis Dr July first and I was hoping to have lost down to the 260's by then 4.5 more to go and I will be in the 60's. That will be 20 pounds in almost 3 months.
Well I am out the door now. I have to get back and do some house cleaning, it never stops.
It's the last day of school, so starting tomorrow my mornings get WAY easier. My younger son is MUCH easier in the mornings than the older one, so even when school starts back up in the fall it's a much more laid back experience.
Last night I tried on some pants that have been patiently waiting for me in my closet and I'm about 2 weeks away from wearing two new pairs! They're still just the tiniest bit snug in the waist, which is odd, because, with my shape that's not where I usually have trouble with the fit. Everything has to be fitted to the big belly, so they usually hang loose in the legs and loose in the waist. These must by tailored for more of an hourglass shape.

LOL!! I do like to keep busy when I can. Right now, I'm trying to stay in motion because I feel guilty that I haven't gotten back into my usual routine...meaning, that since I got back from my trip to CA, I have yet to get back FT on my LC eating AND going to the gym 3 or 4 times a week!! In my defense, I had a 'procedure' on the 28th and some other annual checkups, little projects, and some 'settling' back in stuff to take care of when I got back, but that's still no excuse. Also, my trainer and I haven't connected yet to get my schedule hooked up again. Still...no excuse. Just a lot of stuff's been happening that has me putting things off for a bit. Plus, believe it or not, I've actually lost 4 lbs! Maybe that Colonoscopy cleaned out the exit tubes to get more food out quicker! LOL However, I don't want to push my luck. So I am heading to the gym today to catch my trainer to set things up, and I'm back FT on my LC eating again. I seriously can't explain how I've lost the weight because when I was out in CA, trust me, I ate what I wanted to...and the food I ate were pretty much all the foods I hadn't been able to eat for the last 8 months! like, pancakes, bread, cereal, snacks, candy, ice cream, etc. I left for my trip weighing 153 and came back weighing 150. I even dropped down to 148 a few days ago, but now I'm back to 150. After readjusting my 'goal weight' from 145 to 139, that means I only have about 10/11 lbs to go. I am hoping to do that by the end of Oct, if not before. Soooo, long story short, I need to get back on the program before I start going back UP!! lol And today is my 'start' day. Got to go get another cat carrier today too, cause both cats will not fit in the one I have. Off I go!! lol
Going to be hot and humid here on the Eastern Shore of MD as well. I'm up early to go run some errands. Want to go by Home Depot for a closet door which I will attempt to put up myself. Then Walmart for a few things, the post office, the library, the gym, and then back home to DO some of these little projects. At some point, I need to get outside to throw some paint on the fence. I should have used 'primer' first last year! Maybe then I wouldn't have to get out there this year to cover a few 'spots', lol Later, maybe sit on the deck, read, and catch some 'rays'. Then about 5pm need to head to the Rabies Clinic with my 2 cats and dog for their 'booster' rabies shot. That should be fun! lol Have a great day everyone! Stay cool!
It's supposed to be hot and humid today, with the possibility of severe thunderstorms late in the afternoon and on through the night. I need to get the last of my stuff planted in the garden. The plan is to do that this morning, then play bridge. And this evening I'll be packing leftovers at the food bank.
