i wonder why i have to log in each time now. for the past week or so, i have had to. before that i did not....hmmm???
having my usual lazy saturday. i did a bit of filing in my office, backed up a couple things on the computer and that may be about it. watched the preakness.
hopefully i can find a good movie or two to watch on tv. my dh is working tonight, driving taxi. a 3:30pm till the bars close shift. but, he's still home at 6;30pm. since he's the boss, he doesn't actually have to be out there til it gets busy. it works for the other drivers cuz they will make more money with one less driver out there, but, the business will still flow smoothly since my dh can pop out during the busy times. he's kind of sick of working nights, but, a man's got to do, what a man's got to do....right?
it's a long weekend here in canada, i work sundays, so, i hope that i will get to enjoy a quiet monday.
last night, had to be a bit of a junk food night. had smokies and gluten free hot dog buns. the gluten free breads just don't cut it though. always is a bit dry, no matter what. i've tried several now. they're not low carb of course, but, sometimes you just want to have a bit of junk. so, my first priority is wheat free, then low carb, when i am choosing to be bad.
after you haven't eaten wheat for awhile, if you have wheat, i think it hits you extra hard. which is why i choose the gluten free crap when i want to cheat. ultimately, i would like to choose a great loaf of fresh bread or buns, but, the wheat just doesn't sit well these days. so, it's a choice, dryer bread or awesome bread, but, unpleasant side effects like, heartburn, stomach cramps, diarrhea, tiredness.
it's too bad. i certainly would like to enjoy an awesome bit of fresh bread or baked goods sometimes, but, i don't think it will happen.
