I got back today from my quick trip to Tulsa. Left about 2:00 Wednesday afternoon, drove about 400 miles that day and the other 250 miles Thursday morning, saw two investment companies and two banks (settling my aunt's estate) and had lunch with a friend of my aunt's, drove about 250 miles back towards home Thursday afternoon, and the final 400 or so miles today. Can you say tired?
I have a whole list of small goals on the May Challenge thread, and I did practically none of them. But I did eat as planned, except for a little bit of cheese at Chipotle's for lunch on Thursday. I miss my old foods most when I'm travelling - especially crackers and cookies in the car. My low carb version of that is mostly cheese and nuts, but since I'm doing a dairy free version of Induction this month, those were out, too. It made it a lot more difficult, but I did it.
Suzanne, sounds like your hubby and Andrew might be about the same age in some ways! LOL I hope he gets more supportive!
My Friday at work was quiet but moderately frustrating. I really love the people I work with, but there's a level of chaos that never seems to get resolved. Each task turns into a moving target and that gets disheartening. However, the good news is that I'm writing this post from my desk at home! The three of us at work today bailed out early... :) Tasks might have very flexible boundaries, but apparently so do the work hours!
I got in a dog walk this morning and now the back door is propped open so the boys can come and go. I'm going to go play with an art journal and some paint and work off some of my frustrations!
Debbie, so glad for good test results. Healthy girls are happy girls! :)

Ugh, I am not happy! Two night this week Andrew has not done his homework. He goes to soccer or baseball, comes home and does not get it done. My husband cannot be this stupid! He brings him back and they watch hockey. I have told dh time and time again that Andrew must do his work! So, I am not paying for drew to play soccer next year after school. He is not proving to be capable of doing both. I am just at the end of my rope with both of them right now. Plus, they came home and made veggies and dip for a snack and ate all the broccoli. That was for tonights dinner. Not a good start to my day.
