That was one nasty, gooey, disgusting recipe, Bearclaw! I'm amazed at what people will eat and call "healthy"... If I go off the range and eat something stupid, at the very least I know it's stupid! LOL
My Friday is lovely - I'm off work, cleaning house like a madwoman, and then picking up my MIL for a visit. We're going to have a low-key evening here catching up on the last six years we missed while her son and my ex was married for a second time... When that came apart (#2 quit paying the mortgage 10 months before he found out - he travels a lot), my MIL decided she gets me back in her life and that makes me very happy. I can even be friends with my ex! :)

I realize SP in general is low carb hostile, but I don't go much further than this team anyway. (If I want to listen to foolish people rant I just go play World of Warcraft and read the Trade and General chat channels instead. I'd rather hear a million Chuck Norris jokes than get "corrected" by Becky Hand once.)
Having a slightly better workday today. Still not getting MUCH done, but at least getting SOMETHING done.
~ Declutter my current batch of paper and clerical To-Do's by ~ Getting all my daily personal clerical upkeep tasks done in the first hour of the day and ~ Scheduling my workday workouts like I would schedule a meeting and ~ Scheduling a defined half hour for lunch, when I work/play only on personal business
Greetings. I've been gone a while (mostly just due to frustration with SP being so low-carb unfriendly).
Here's a funny thing I just got. As a joke, my wife bought me a magazine called 'Low-Carb Cooking" that is put out by the editors of 'Diabetic Living". The cover features lasagna! The magazine is filled with recipes with recipes that the diabetic community apparently consider low carb. One example is the ingredients list for White Fruitcake Fudge:
3/4 cup chopped walnuts 3/4 cup dried apricots 2/3 cup raisins 1 t butter 2 CUPS sugar 3/4 cup sour cream 1/2 cup butter 12 oz white baking chocolate 1 7-oz jar marshmallow creme
Now that would definitely qualify me for being a reader of diabetic literature!
