I had a good Sunday working around the house doing some Spring cleaning. Got quite a few things completed, which included a trip to Home Depot. Didn't get to the garden, but cleaned out the Sun Room (the cats/dog room, lol) and potted some flowers in my deck planter. I started all these little projects at Noon and didn't sit down until about 5:30pm. Completely forgot to eat anything cause I got on a 'roll'..lol Got more to do, but it will get done the next warm day! I def got my exercise yesterday! And, this morning, I had lost another pound. 2 more lbs and I'll be back in the 140s...yea!! Gym tomorrow morning and if nice, garden work in the afternoon.
Ha, I'm faking the "Happy Monday" bit too, Woubbie! I had a wonderful day yesterday and it made me realize how much I need a few more days to myself. I know I am a classic introvert - I process my life inside my head first, and I need more time to do that!!
I don't have plan for after work (except for taking the boys for a walk), so I'm hoping for a relaxing evening.
Woubbie, I hope your remodeling project goes smoothly and efficiently! There's nothing like the satisfaction that comes from getting something big, visible, and annoying crossed off the list... :)

Busier weekend than I would have liked, but not as bad as it could have been. Elder son went to his girlfriend's prom on Friday, had a band rehearsal on Saturday (after a scant 5 hours sleep), and a symphony concert on Sunday. Lucky boy got to see Joshua Bell perform. This week he also has lots on the to-do list, including finishing up his Senior Project portfolio. Got a feeling I'll be making multiple trips to the craft stores this week!
I'm about to start remodeling season. I finally got the boys' room 98% done, so there's just a small section of baseboard to nail down and I can cross that lifelong project off the list. And, miracle of miracles, my DH and I have FINALLY agreed on how to repair and remodel the ceiling in our bedroom. Oh. My. God. You can't imagine what this thing has looked like for all the 22 years I've lived there. It has always been near to dead last on the project list and even when we put it on the to-do we totally disagreed with how to fix/finish it. At last the angels sang and we now have a budget-conscious, lightweight but strong, attractive, and easy to install option. It's all going on some credit card or other but I frankly don't care anymore. Just want it DONE!
Have a great day, all!

Labour is prior to, and independent of capital. Capital is only the fruit of labour, and could never have existed if labour had not first existed. Labour is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration. Abraham Lincoln
Another sunny spring like day here. I should get in lots of walks with James and some playtime outside. I have a massage at eleven, so it is looking to be a good day. I think I might go back to burgers, even though my steaks are on sale. I miss my burgers.
