I understand your situation. I was in the hospital for a week and had to rely on my husband to bring my food. It was a nightmare! He brought my ribs so burned, they were as black as charcoal. I asked him to cook my burgers on the grill, I got pan fried. I was miserable all week.
When I was having a baby last year, I cooked my food ahead!

About 3 weeks ago, right after I started on Atkins, my Achilles ruptured 100% and I felt like my life fell apart. Had surgery, and my wonderful doctor was able to repair the Achilles.

I have spent this time in bed recovering. and now I'm ready to start again. Still can not walk, or put any pressure on my foot, but this is good. I have found some wonderful workout videos that are chair exercises. This way I can still exercise, leave the left foot out of the equation, but still get healthy.

The big thing, is I still can't get into the kitchen and cook, so I'm depending on my family to cook, and sometimes this is hard, because even though they buy the things off my list, they still get what they want to snack, and they still make things I shouldn't eat.

Not letting that get me down, I may not follow Atkins 100% right now, but I'm doing what I can and not letting any of this stop me.
