I try to enter in a lot to Sparkrecipes. I have a few things that are "groupings" but if it has more than a couple of ingredients I enter it. Some of my things in there I no longer eat since they are bean or wheat, etc. I'm entering more and more LC items.

If you go to someone's "My Spark Page" up at the top there are some headers. One of the headers on the far right says "More". Click on that and it shows recipes that they have either put in or marked as favorites.

Hi, Where is the "favorites" that you wrote about below? The Curried Cream of Chicken Soup sounds awesome too!
Thanks!

Does *plotting* to cook qualify?

I was reorganizing my freezer and came across some items which need to get used soon...one is a couple packages of beef rib bones and trim (fat) that I got -gratis- from the butcher, since they throw this out! they're crazy!!! LOL The other is some bottom round roasts I got on "twofers" a little while back. So we're going to have some homemade onion soup and pot roast in a day or so. I need to brine the roasts overnite before I cook them, and don't have the right mix of onions for the soup (yet).
Tomorrow is shopping day!
...should I warn them?!?
hehehe

I just saved it to Favorites. I saw your Curried Cream of Chicken soup. I made a very similar curried cream of celery soup recently that turned out so good!

You are talking about the pimento cheese, right? It sounds good. I will have to look for it.

Well, and I should say pimento cheese is a perfect LC food if it is homemade. I think they put HFCS in commercial ones.
I entered my recipe on Spark and it came in over 83% fat so it would make a good modified Fat Fast recipe too!

I wonder if the saffron would work with cauliflower when made like faux rice. There are recipes out there for "rice" made with cauliflower.

That sounds really good, Moxie! I am going to make a crustless quiche later on and try some saffron and mushrooms in it. I can't think of much else to do with this saffron that doesn't involve rice, so feel free to let me know if anyone has tried-and-true uses for it in conjunction with Atkins! (We don't eat fish*, so that is also out.)

*Besides canned tuna...

Anyone working on some recipes today?
I just made pimento cheese which I had not done in a long time! It is the perfect LC food!
I'm hoping to work on a Dana Carpendar recipe for Fat Fast bread too.
