Happy birthday, Faith, and Happy Hump Day to the rest of us!
Really rainy here today. It feels like a lot of the pending crud on my desk is finally caught up. I need to leave work and run some personal errands (shuffling money between banks to pay the IRS... fun!), and then tonight I have to go work for my favorite client. He sounded a tad stressed on the phone yesterday, so I hope that's improved by tonight. When he's stressed, I'M stressed! LOL

Hi all. Today is my birthday. I have already had so many hits on facebook for birthday wishes. I love my birthday on facebook. It is just fun to see how many people love you
My ex-coworker that moved away sent me flowers yesterday. They are beautiful and made my day!
I plan to totally stay on plan and on the April challenge still today. Have a good one everyone! I intend to.

Nothing planned for today except really cranking on getting my interview transcribed. Sigh.
That sounds really good, Woubbie! Happy Wednesday everyone; my husband finally goes back to work today after 4 days of vacation at home. It was nice to have him here, but tought to really get anything done, so I am looking forward to playing catch-up today. (...Mmmm ketchup! *grin*)
Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn’t.
Another happy working day! My son's girlfriend's prom is on Friday so most of my free time this week revolves around details for that. This afternoon is his fitting, tomorrow is pickup day, and then there's the promenade itself. And she had a rather special request for her flowers so I thought it would be prudent in our financail situation if I made the wrist corsage myself. (Blue roses? Really, honey? Couldn't we just do the cheap yellow ones that match your dress? *sigh* Good thing I like her so much!) I'll post a picture if it turns out well.
He's also tying up some loose ends with his Senior project, so we had our Choir Director over for dinner again last night. The CD is mostly vegetarian so I begged my husband to come up with something nice for dinner and he came through with flying colors. A bit high on carbs and low on protein for me, but it was very good and the CD loved it. So did my younger son, who has always been a real veggie eater. It's tough to get protein in that kid! Thank God for bacon! Anyway, he made superb veggie burgers with a side of spicy roasted sweet potatoes. Delicious. And 2 hours later I was freaking RAVENOUS, lol!
Have a great day, all!
As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?
Morning all! James and I are off to a play date this morning. We both had eggs for breakfast and will have burgers for lunch and dinner. It is rainy, but warmer today.
I really need to clean my floors today, fun!
