Ugh. I'm in a grumpy, blue mood. Spent yesterday doing my tax return (since my 'favorite' client failed to call me back and get on my schedule) so now THAT'S done but I have to write the IRS a check for $670 by the 15th. Crikey... Any idea how much I hate doing that?? I haven't been working long enough to have a slush fund yet, and I'm mostly just annoyed with myself and my own bad planning. I should have been paying a tad more attention to my self-employment income!
Ah well, I'll write the check, shuffle some money around, whine, eat out of the freezer this month, and move forward. The weather here is atrocious too - I didn't even make the boys go for a walk it was dumping down so hard. I'm doing some laundry now and then need to think about getting ready for a new week of work.
I need to do a gratitude list!

A quiet rainy Sunday here... I had lunch at a friends house, she made taco salads and since she was l/c also, it was no problem except for maybe a little too much of a good thing. Otherwise, I've not done much today, did do a little grocery shopping this morning and cooked (steamed) a couple bunches of broccoli to use in salad or with sauce or something. It needed to be cooked..
The rain is supposed to end tonight, I sure hope it does..
EWEFLUFFY IS NOW KICK-SS
TODAY IS THE TOMORROW YOU WORRIED ABOUT YESTERDAY. GET ON WITH IT!!
BEFORE YOU CAN START A NEW CHAPTER - YOU HAVE TO FIRST TURN THE PAGE!
HI all! Wearing shorts for the first time since October! Woohoo! It really ISN'T the beginning of a new Ice Age!
Church this morning, then some grocery shopping, then home, then picked up my mom to do some craft shopping for my son's date's corsage for the prom on Friday, then home to make dinner and now, finally, sitting down!!! Whew! Too hectic for a Sunday!
Still need to make lots of foods for the week. Later. First, gonna go kill some electrons in World of Warcraft. Rolled a new character this morning just for fun. She's a panda. No. Really. I usually play humans or elves, just thought I'd try something different. She looks a lot like this:
and is named Juliet Butler after a fierce little character from the Artemis Fowl kid's books. LOL! Good times!

The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie--deliberate, contrived and dishonest--but the myth--persistent, persuasive and unrealistic. Too often we hold fast to the cliches of our forebears. We subject all facts to a prefabricated set of interpretations. We enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.
hi Kris, no riding as of late... too cold before we left, and not much warmer upon our return.
Additionally, my bike needs the chain tightened, and I won't ask hubby for a bit, since we have so much work that piled up.
Had a large tin of wild red salmon with a dollop of mayo for late breakfast (brunch?) and will have some well-roasted chicken wings for dinner. Need to gnaw, as usual. LOL
Cream and coffee as a snack this afternoon.
Have packed 30 ebay items today so far...only 46 more to catch up. HAHAHAHA At least there's an income, huh?
Have seen another house for rent, possible even better than the one we lost out on (unless the current applicants' credit is not sufficient). A few calls into other estate agents whose listing I saw over the weekend, so maybe some calls tomorrow or Tuesday. We shall see.
Dogs bugging me to go out again.. but they'll have to wait a half hour or so. Getting cloudy too and even cooler, but we WILL go out again!
Debb,I meant to mention I am so glad you had a wonderful visit with your family. Many Happy memories, I bet??!! Have you done any riding lately??? I am working on my daily list, hoping to be productive. I have been unfocused lately and the scale shows it, so does my energy level. Onward!
Well, first thing I need to do is change james' diaper! Then make breakfast. It might rain, but I am hoping I can still take a walk with him. I just love walking outside. Then baseball practice this afternoon.
