I think for cancer the most important thing indeed is keeping all sugar and most carbs out of your diet. So if it helps you avoid more sugar in the form of fruit maybe this is helpful for a while. On the other hand raw salads could be a great addition. If you really don't like making them maybe use a salad bar at a restaurant or grocery store?

Thanks for all of your thoughts. I just wanted to see if anyone had used them and what their experience was. I do see great results for my friend and I think I may try them because I know I don't get enought nutrients from my food for various reasons. If I boutght all of those kinds of vegetables they would go bad in my fridge before I could get to them. They are about $40 a month. Not sure if I can really keep up that cost or not. But they are supposed to be good to help if you have cancer. So supposedly they would change the environment for cancer to be able to not flourish. I am not one that will spend a lot of time messing with foods/juice etc.

This seems like a common trend nowadays...just take a pill or drink this drink and you'll get the equivalent of 20 fruits / vegetables in a day. I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer, so to speak, but it seems like this right along with taking a pill to lose weight. I'm with Birgit, it's better to get it all naturally, if at all possible.

Worst case scenario - the supplement may not do any more good than a basic multivitamin. On the other hand, it shouldn't do any harm. Five calories from about 1g of carbs. That's not much. If they're not too expensive they might be worth a shot.

It depends on how low you have to stay with your carbs. Fruit is not necessary to get all the nutrients you need. In fact even veggies may not strictly be necessary, but of course are helpful for most of us. I eat at least 3 cups worth of veggies a day, just skip the high-carb ones.

I would rather pick and choose my fruits and veggies for low carb than to take pills - I allow for some of each.

But being low carb I do not eat hardly any fruits and actually limit the veggies as well, but I hear your point.

I haven't tried them but know that the processing that would be required for any fruits and veggies to be put in pill form would lose a lot of nutrients. I would recommend staying with the real thing.
