I don't think I can delete a thread, so let's just let this one go dormant.

Got that, folks? Two different threads were started simultaneously, and we're killing this thread and using the other.

Seems like I should be able to come up with some word play having to do with roads. This thread is getting lost? Hit a dead end? Anyway, you get the picture.

Not to worry! We must have clicked at about the same time, lol! I'll just cut and paste the links into your post (I like your writing better!) and see if Maw can delete this thread, or just let it go dormant.

As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?

Hate to lose either start. There's room enough in this town for both of you!

Other start:
Road Map to Success

Are you stuck on your journey? Whatever your destination get your map out and plot the journey for this month of April. Where are you starting and where do you want to be at the end of your journey on April 30th?

If you know where you want to go, you can plot out the most efficient course from point A to point B or Z or anywhere in between.

If you get off course, the map can help you get back.

If you want to follow the scenic route, the map can still help you make progress and not get lost.

It can also be used for swatting flies and obnoxious passengers. He,he,he!

So come join us on this road trip and don’t get “tripped” by up not having a map. Share with us your point A and point B or whatever letter and we will make progress on our journey this month.
Maybe you will have freeway markers or mile markers or cities or towns along the way. Maybe you will even have some rest areas. So pick out your map and away we go!

I am so sorry Woubbie. I didn't see that you had started this thread. Please forgive me. I started one too. Not sure how to fix that.

In honor of National Read a Roadmap Week (the first week of April) our monthly challenge is to follow your OWN Road Map to Success and track your journey in the monthly challenge thread.

Your journey might be just a practical trip to get from Point A to Point B, or it might be a bit more scenic. Post your “map” and check in all during April to chart your progress.

So, plot your course and come tell everyone about where you’ve been and where you’re going.

Some ideas:

Walk or run a "virtual" cross-country race here: exercise.lbl.gov/index.html

Sign up for C25K

Design a menu for the whole month and challenge yourself to "stick to the main road!"
