Had a busy and lovely day with the family -- took a 45 min walk with daughter in law and the 2 grandkids. And it's been GORGEOUS here! The past couple of days have seen 75-78 degrees and so much sun -- I know I am not in England!
Son bbq'd and I had some steak and 1/2 a turkey sausage as well as a deviled egg and a half. My food has been right on plan, though I have been eating a (very) little more... that is, I have been eating lunch more often, but not a lot in quantity.
Daughter-in-law (Pearl) is making a lamb roast tomorrow which I will eat, of course. And a "no" to everything else.
Happy Birthday to baby James! Gosh, doesn't seem like it's been a year since he came here. Guess time flies, huh?
No plans here for tomorrow - just a hang out day as far as I know. And that's fine... My days of cooking big dinners are over. I'm going to have chicken for dinner tomorrow since I bought half a chicken today at the market, it's already cooked with some Asian sauce on it. I'll have that and a salad.
Today was a reality check, I'm going to have to be MUCH more careful with my eating - carbs are getting out of hand and all I can say is that I've been "maintaining" which has not been my plan!!!

Happy birthday, James! No Easter celebrations here either. I took on a temporary client this weekend and I'm already done with his stuff. Just waiting for him to review it and then come pick up his documents. It only took 3-1/2 hours - I couldn't even round up! LOL That won't exactly sponsor shoes but it will cover one student loan payment. :)
The weather is gorgeous here - I walked the boys this morning and they have spent the rest of the day going in and out the backdoor to hang on the deck in the sun. I also worked like a crazy woman to get 90% of my house cleaned so that it didn't scare the new client dude when he walked in. Been working on another client's stuff but now I'm going to go put my feet up, grab my Kindle, and put my brain in neutral until Client Dude calls or shows up!
Happy Easter everyone!

Happy Birthday to James! And Happy Easter everyone! We don't really celebrate Easter here at our house, but my kids love Easter baskets and Easter egg hunts....so we'll do that a bit tomorrow morning. Thankfully none of that is tempting to me right now, so it'll be easy enough to stay on plan.

I figure I will add a touch of tomato sauce and then top with cheese for the pizza. James is a big fan of tomatoes. Just thought I would try it for something different. I made them small, like a bagel size pizza. If not, my older son will eat them.
Just some housekeeping on the agenda today. I'm waiting for my eldest to get up so I can break the news about his audition, and plan what he needs to do next. Luckily he's already planned to spend the afternoon with his sweetie, so that will help his mood considerably. I'll let HER deal with the fallout, lol! (That's what meaningful relationships are for, no?)
Happy Birthday to James, and Happy Easter to all!

Oopsie roll pizza? I have the recipe for those rolls, but have not tried it yet. How do you like them? And how do you make the pizza, Suzanne? Just make them bigger before you bake them? Then what do you do about the tomato sauce..do you replace it with something else, then add your toppings (cheese, pepperoni, saus, etc)? I'm sure James will have a super birthday! How could he not with a great mom like you!!
Today, I'm probably going to do some 'shed' cleaning and maybe the floors in the sunroom. Plus I have a guy coming over who is interested in buying my motorcycle. I'm hoping he does!! Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies! :) Supposed to be in the upper 50s today and in the 60s tomorrow. I am SO ready for the warm weather and the beach season to start again!!!
I guess I should do some cleaning. We have the family coming over to celebrate james' birthday and Easter. I have to make him a flour less cake too. I am also making him oppsie roll pizza as a treat. That or pork ribs. The rest of the family is having make your own sandwiches. I will be dining on my burgers, of course.
