I love eating straight fat. I often fry up pieces of fat for James to eat too. You just cannot eat a lot at once and you will feel sick.

LOL! I bet you all did!! You actually eat the solid fat off the edge of the steaks? Wow! I don't think I could do that! Somehow that seems like just taking a stick of butter and eating it...and
that sounds like something you shouldn't even THINK of doing. lol However, we know that it would not kill you, but it just seems bad.

Yes, I eat the highest fat ground beef. If I eat steak, it has to have a good thick edge of fat. If my family is eating steak, I cut off their fat and will have it with my burgers.
There are actually quite a few zc people out there. I had dinner in NYC with about twenty zc people from a message board, it was fun. We went to a Brazilian BBQ, all you can eat meat. We sure ate a lot!

So, you get all your FAT from the burgers you eat. Wow! I don't know how you can eat that way. I would get SO bored with just meat & water. lol The advice in your last 2 sentences....that makes perfect sense! That is what I am striving for. Right now, I've lost 14lbs since Jan 1st. and I have 8lbs to go to reach my goal weight. I hope to lose at least 4 more before I leave on my trip to CA on May 6th. That gives me about 5 weeks or so and is very doable!

When I get to my goal weight, I will then shoot for 6 more just to give me a personal satisfaction as well as a bit of a cushion. I want to do that extra 6 mostly because I haven't seen that weight since I was in my mid 20s!! lol

I am zero carb. I eat meat, fat, and water. There are some zc people who do a touch of dairy. I will from time to time have cheese on my burgers. If I ever wanted a vegetable, I would have one. Like my pregnancy, I ate several vegetables and a lot more dairy. Then, I never wanted them again.
This is all about finding a plan you can livevwith. There is no point going zero carb to lose weight as a short term solution cause as soon as you add the carbs back in, the weight will return.
The best bet is to find a carb number you can live with. Be honest about what carbs your body can handle. That is a much better recipe for lifetime success over a number on a scale.

So, basically, mostly all meat all day, every day. No veggie/salads/cheese on the burgers, no low carb cheesecake or sweet thing? Not sure I can do that! but, I do love my fatty cheeseburgers, and eat them mostly 2 meals a day. Cream Cheese w/grn olives, my hot tea with a bit of heavy cream in it. I think I have sufficient fat in my diet, but some have said more veggies are needed ...and I don't LIKE many veggies. lol Never have. Even as a child and my parents were forever taking them out of my napkin at the dinner table! lol

Also,I have never like variety in my diet. I always ate the same three or four foods. My father was the same way.

Believe it or not, I eat burgers three times a day. I have steak once or twice a week, if it is on special. I like chicken, but not as a meal. Like a drumstick with my burgers is fine. I like pork ribs and will have those now and then. I love beef ribs, but they are hard to find here.
So, I love the taste of the burgers and they are the most economical. I eat about $14 in ground beef a day.
I do eat eggs now and then too.

Haha, Suzanne gets a lot of questions about her menu! :) I could not eat that way, Suzanne, but I give you the credit for my deep love of hamburgers with sea salt! I broil instead of grill, but you were the one who inspired me to go Plain.

My Hump Day has been somewhat chaotic just at my desk. I'm sort of irritable too. The admin assistant downstairs has a high level of curiosity and I get annoyed with someone asking me a broad question in order to find out more than what they really need to know! It's too small an office for me to say MYOB, but I need to find some gentle ways to reduce her involvement in some things.

Headed back to a client's workplace tonight after a fast bank and post office run. The boys aren't going to get a walk tonight or tomorrow night, but I hope I can make it up to them this weekend.

Suzanne, what all do you eat all day besides fatty burgers?? do you also eat chicken, steak, ham, cheese...what? I am loving my cheeseburgers and steaks, but I'm also throwing in small lettuce salads, beanless chili. What is a typical day for you, as far as food?

Wow! You must have looked anorexic, Suzanne! I can't even imagine that, especially given how much you eat.

The sun is out today and it's supposed to get all the way up to 45! I really need to get out in the yard and garden but doubt that it's going to happen.

Morning all! James is barely nursing these days, so gone are my days of non stop eating and looking anorexic. Plus, my food bill was really high! But, it was fun while it lasted. I am back to a healthier weight. I am 5 5 and 108 now. I was 97 pounds for a LONG time. I normally eat twice a day, but was at three a day with the bursing. Looks like I can go back to twice a day.
On another note. If you are struggling and asking for help, please post a typical day's menu! We cannot really provide a lot of help if we don't know what you are eating.
