saw doc and surgery center this morning-- now setting up the home, me and kitties for a few days of laying low...
Fluffy in SC
Suy and warm in Quebec. About to head out for a walk with James. He is now only nursing before bed! There is an end in sight!
Maw, that's hard to relate to! We had near 60 degrees yesterday and sunshine! I left work early and took the boys for a walk before going to a client's. I'm so relieved to have dry weather and longer daylight - makes me feel like I might live through a dark winter after all. Hope you see signs of Spring soon!
Low key day here at work again. Gives me hope that this job could look "normal" someday. Also got a call from my friend at a CPA's office and she referred me to someone who was frantically calling around through the yellow pages to find someone who could whip together financial statements for his bank for the first three months of the year... Turns out I have free time and can charge a premium for this work! Now I no longer have time to shop for shoes this weekend, but this may help me afford said shoes someday! :)

It was so beautiful yesterday! Especially if you were inside looking out at it.
We had one of those heavy wet fluffy snows Sunday night. The kind that piles up on all the branches and twigs and makes things look like someone went crazy with cans of whipped cream. Absolutely georgous! They were predicting 3" to 8" of snow, but we were at the low end of that. Indianapolis, just 50 miles north of here, got over 8".
Then, since the snow melted from the roads and driveways and such yesterday but it continued to snow and then got below freezing last night, they were predicting icy streets and driveways. But that didn't happen, either. As folks around here were saying, it was a much publicized and super-hyped non-event. Fortunately. But just think what a hullabaloo there would have been if the situation were reversed and it was much worse than the news and weather folks predicted. The poor folks just can't win.
Anyway, it's supposed to warm up for the weekend. Almost all the way to normal for this time of year!
