Checking in kinda late. Today was a weird one for sure. My eating's been pretty erratic, but only because my food's been on the low side. Stress, for once, has made me lose my appetite.

I was trying to resolve the work issue I have with an extremely toxic co-worker this morning. She insisted that we go to an empty conference room to "talk". She essentially lectured me for 20 minutes (to what end I don't know, I had already apologized, as was proper based on my behavior to her last Friday). So I was losing patience (and losing interest as well) when she finally put her foot firmly in her mouth.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is not in vain that I play online video games. There is a form of gameplay called PvP: Player vs. Player. It is not my strong suit, though I do enjoy it.

When she left me that opening I proceeded to give the Oscar-winning performance of a lifetime, full of indignation, horror, and outrage. I theatrically burst into tears, called her an "awful witch", and staggered off to a distant ladies room to (as far as she knew) have a complete breakdown.

I carried it off in one take. When I got to the ladies room I actually burst into laughter. I had snowed her big-big! In PvP terms, she was in the graveyard talking to the spirit healer and I was t-bagging her abandoned corpse.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

There was an epilogue to this "meeting". I ran into her as I was making my way back to my office and she looked truly horrified. (Probably figured I was going to report her to the boss for the comment she had made that had SOOOOOO crossed the line.) Dragged me back to the conference room where I proceeded to TOP my previous performance. I will be milking this one for YEARS to come!

I will sleep well tonight.

Labour is prior to, and independent of capital. Capital is only the fruit of labour, and could never have existed if labour had not first existed. Labour is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

Thanks!! I am still not seeing many 'inches' off my body yet, but as long as i'm still losing weight, it's got to come off at some point! lol I think its hit my face and all the other areas
that I really don't want to lose from. Need to lose the belly fat!! I have noticed that my jean waist is looser, so that's a good thing. I will keep going..because I really do enjoy the exercise and the low carb I am getting a handle on slow but sure. I DO still have a couple of 'cheats' now and then, but I don't beat myself up for them, and just get right back on the next day. I will be happy when I have a flat tummy and more of a waist. Plus an improved stamina!! Thanks again for the kudos!!

lady,

Yay on the feeling good! I would love to drop about the amount of weight you are looking at and then I'm not going to lie through maintaining and improving my stamina I hope to actually get a little definition to whatever areas of my body will respond. I'm giving up on my mama pooch responding though.

Congrats on getting where you are! Keep on, keeping on.

I've also had a good day so far. I went to see my doctor for my 'Welcome to Medicare' initial checkup, lol I last saw her on Feb.19,2013, at which time, I had dropped some weight from my low carb eating. Today, she told me I have lost 6 lbs this past month. Fortunately, HER scale is only 1lb higher than mine, so we 'jive' pretty well. I was expecting her to day I weighed about 4 more lbs than what my scale had said. Anyway, she said I was in excellent health and to keep on doing what I was doing. Since Jan lst, Ive now lost 14lbs, with only 8 lbs to go to meet my goal. Then WHEN I make that one, I am going to go for 6 more to break into 130s..just to prove and say that I could do it,,,and since I haven't seen that (area) since I was in my late 20s, lol
I am SO pumped right now and feeling very good about myself, both physically and mentally. Have a Great evening everyone!

It's amazing to me how many dense forms of sugar are disgusting to me now... however, there are a few forms that are sadly still appealing. :(

The sun is out here but it is chilly outside. I am so glad it's Friday - I have client work to do at home this weekend, but other than that my time is my own. After I do two errands for my mom, that is.

Eating has been good today, and I am feeling better mentally, physically, and emotionally. Finally! :) The sun might be helping too.

Yes, I demanded no sugar water at the hospital! Knowing what I know now, I would demand no sugar until they were at least teenagers....sigh....

They do love the stuff. When my daughter was born, they gave her a bottle with sugar water right off, not sure why. A bit later we tried to nurse, and she absolutely did not want me! We had to take the nipple from the bottle and put it over mine to get her started, then sneak it out of there.

Suz, my daughter was showing me a blog about someone making a "snickers loaf". OMG....it was awful, the amount of sugar poured into one giant baking dish. Thankfully, my daughter was just as sick looking at it as I was. So sad.....

James and I went to an Easter party at playgroup today. Sad to see so many kids eating sugar all morning.

Faith - Finger painting and my daughter.....Hmmm....I'm having vivid thoughts of this and it's not good. Not good at all.

I love both my children to pieces. I miiss them within 15 minutes of leaving them. I often opt out of social functions because I don't want to be apart. But the girl....oh my goodness. She can wear me down to a thumb sucking, glass of wine wielding, rocking in the corner in the fetal position, frazzled mess.

Oh the stories I could tell you about this girl. I never thought I would have "that" child.

Alas, God has a sense of humor.

Art is a good suggestion. I just need to think hard about the medium

SKINNIKKI, look on the internet or Pinterest for some art projects. There are some that could probably be done my any age. Finger painting is actually a fun one and you can actually make your own paints with cornstarch and water and food coloring. I think there are recipes to make it. Also simple baking might be nice or puzzles. Lots of ideas on the internet. Have fun. We actually did finger painting in my women's group in January. Our theme this year is Born to Create and I just wanted to get them started using their imaginations.

Happy Friday Everyone! I just joined your group yesterday and I am so pleased that there is so much interaction with the group. It is cold here also we are expecting snow the next 3 possibly 4 days. My day is pretty full. I am taking my youngest daughter out of town to take her test to become a school teacher. I am so excited.

I loathe doing my own taxes. I would pay someone if that wasn't utterly ridiculous for me to do so!

Rainy and COLD here. That is the forecast for the whole weekend. Trying to come up with indoor activities for my two children 6 and 2. I'm stumped for something for all of us to do together with the difference in age. But I better come up with something! If they aren't occupied I will just hear a bunch of screaming from the smallest one.

Heck - I'll probably hear screaming regardless.

Nothing on the agenda for today except taxes. Ugh! After 25 years of doing them for others, I hate to do my own.

It's another beautiful sunny day today. I need to enjoy it while I can. They're predicting up to 10" of snow on Sunday! Of course, if it warms up just a bit it will be slush instead of snow, and less accumulation.

Have a great Friday, everyone, and a great weekend!
