Glad you're feeling so much better, Debb!
Smart TV's connect to the Internet. At least, over HERE they do. :)
Fibre optic -- woo hoo, it should be VERY fast!
we have guys here today installing fibre optics tv and internet. our house is a long way from the road and there are lots of trees. they will probably be here for a long time. i wonder how much faster our internet will be?
the price for phone, tv and internet is 1/2 the price we are paying now for everything, so, that will be amazing. oh, and we get a free 40" smart tv (i have no idea what a smart tv is)
that's my big excitement for the day. maybe for the week.

Woubbie -- it has to get better, right?
This has been one of the busiest Mondays in a long time. While Mondays are generally busy, today was way over the top. Thank God I did a lot of the ebay yesterday!
had the dogs out twice to the park today, about 15-20 min each time. had a load of phone orders and phone calls. WHAT A DAY! On the other hand, it's bringing income that we won't be getting while we er closed and in America, so it's okay!
Food has been really good. I am eating 90-95 protein; that is, what I eat is protein based, like chicken, fish, meat and such. And I am adding shirtaki noodles to at least one meal a day; I like the fibre and almsot non-existent calories, as well as zero net carbs.
I am doing even better on this than when I added salads and veg a few times a day. So I will stick with it a while. :)
I feel great, more energetic, no sugar cravings (thanks to dumping artificial sweeteners, I am sure), and not tired at all!
Well, this time on Thursday (it's almost 6 pm here), we'll be in the air, on our way to meet my family in Orlando. WOOHOO!
A Marvelous Monday to All!
Woubbie, life is too short and precious to spend it in close proximity to anything or anyone odious!! I know Stupid isn't truly contagious, but I still fear getting hit with the splatter on occasion... I say relocate in any way possible!!
My Monday started off sorta low-key so I hope that's a sign for the whole week. I have to go to the bank, the post office, and then to a client's workplace tonight (the chilly warehouse), so things might get a little manic this evening.
I am back to really needing a day off - I worked on Saturday and Sunday, and even though I hung out at a friend's house yesterday, she got to talking and I lost energy and time. Love her, but I wanna stay home alone and regroup!!
Burgers for dinner! The sun is out here (for now) and it's coming in the office window behind me. :)

I booked a cruise for my husband and I for our 30th wedding anniversary next March 1st.....I have to get 35lbs off by then.....
Snowy weather here today.....
Been a rough couple of weeks with kids who had surgery and hospitalization. Getting back on track this week. At least I only gained 1/2 a pound through it all and most of that was probably salt from grabbing food on the go.
Quietly making noise... Starts with kindergarten toys, Not too soft, not too loud, Just enough to draw a crowd- Jimmy Buffett
Took the day off. The kids are off school and my work load is slightly lower so I can actually afford a break! Of course, I took advantage of that situation to schedule an appointment for my younger son. XD So much for relaxing... I can feel my blood pressure going up already.
Tomorrow it's back to the grind. I emailed my boss over the weekend asking if I could relocate my desk to the other side of the room where I don't have to listen to the odious woman I "flamed" on on Friday and he said no. :( With all the other potential upheaval in our department over the next several months, I think I might just start shopping around for a different position. There are plenty of nerds on the other side of the complex who would probably be happy to have me!
Time for lunch. Have a great day, all!
As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits:
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were there going to St. Ives?
Looks like we have a big storm coming our way tomorrow. So, I will get to the grocery store today. Probably will be eating burgers all week unless there is a special on steak. Last week I got four steaks that were priced wrong. Three dollars each and they were big thick steaks. Love when that happens.
