If anyone needs daylight past 9:30 p.m. they can move to Alaska or Iceland! I like going to bed when it gets dark outside, and I can't wait for earlier daylight, warmer weather, and feeling like I'm coming back to life! LOL

It makes no sense anymore. It's a 24/7 world. I'd sooner see us stay on standard time all year long. That way when the sun is directly overhead it IS noon. I see no problem with the sun coming up at 5:30. On the longest day of the year the sun would rise at 5:25 and set at 8:31. Do we really need it to be daylight at 9:30pm?!?!?

i don't get it. if we keep it on the time we have sprung forward to now, we get the longer evenings all year round. don't we?

I heard some stats this week apparently there are more heart attacks and strokes the first week after the time change, it costs ofver 480 billion dollars in lost productivity across the US and it costs the average citizen $3.82. I don't know if any of that is true, but there are supposed to be 10 people in our section of the office -- the work day started 35 minutes ago and 3 of us are here.

Every year I fight to adjust to the time difference and I feel like I have jet lag for several days. However, I love setting the clocks back in the Fall... :) Princess gets an extra hour of sleep!!

Well, I often get woken up by my hubby going to the bathroom in the AM and now I'm feeling really messed up. Alone in the dark here drinking my tea. Even the newspaper hasn't come yet!

I am starting my ticker again since starting low carb....in the home strech!

Clocks get moved ahead here on Easter weekend, but I'll be in the US then (8 hrs ahead of me here) so it will, indeed, be a VERY weird change this year.

Usually, I try to set my body by going to bed and getting up about 1/2 earlier/later, depending on which way the clocks move, but I am not often successful.

Anyway, we, here in the UK, are now 1 less hour different (behind less) from you folks in the States. For a few weeks anyway. :)

Agree with all. Hate it for the next three weeks while my body clock struggles to adjust, but love having daylight later in the evening, but hate going to work in the dark again.

It is indeed strange to do it so early. I hate it, but only tomorrow morning. After that I enjoy having daylight longer in the day. emoticon
I guess if you have to go to work early it can be miserable.
