I did the fat fast for 5 days - I lost 5, gained back 2.5 when going back to induction. I expected to gain back some of it since from what I understand, that is typical. However, I am happy with the results since I had been in a stall for quite some time and this did finally help me lose!
Unfortunately, I might have even done better after going off the fast if I hadn't had a couple of uh-oh days in the last 2 weeks lol.....so although I am back on induction now, I have skewed the results of my experiment :( I will probably try the fat fast again in a couple of weeks, then be more disciplined when I go off of it and see what results I get when I do it properly.
I was a little hungry the first 2 days but after that I was fine....I looked hard for creative fat fast food ideas and it helped it not be bad at all :) Also, it helped me to get it thru my head about the importance of upping my fat intake, I now think I have been protein heavy in my ratios.
