Oops. I missed that you were looking for lunch ideas.

Salad of tuna (or chicken or egg or turkey), celery, mayo, mustard, and maybe some sunflower seeds or slivered almonds
Soup - broth, frozen veggie (broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, etc.), onion, cream (or coconut milk) and/or cheese
Soup - broth, mushrooms, tomato, frozen broccoli or spinach, eggs
Salad - leftover meat of any kind, lettuce, tomatoes, dressing, maybe some sunflower seeds or slivered almonds
Salad of cauliflower, eggs, ranch dressing, and maybe some sunflower seeds or slivered almonds
Salad of cabbage, onion, egg, cheese and/or ham or sausage, mayo, mustard, lemon juice and maybe some sunflower seeds or slivered almonds
Omelet of eggs and whatever is handy to put in it (except I usually just make a scramble instead of making an omelet)
Quiche with whatever you want to put in it. I make it in a 9" cake pan and it makes 4 servings. I refrigerate the leftover and usually eat the them cold though they are better heated a bit.
Fried eggs or scrambled eggs or boiled eggs or poached eggs
Eggs poached in cream with butter are very good and filling even if there's nothing to go with them

Check out how many carbs in the rice cakes and decide if you want them.

Think "picnic". I cook chicken thighs (with skin, of course) with Deli BBQ seasoning. They keep really well even in a lunch bag. Raw veg. Nuts. Green peppers with cream cheese.

If you miss sandwiches you can use romaine leaves to "wrap" your fillings.

Don't tell me what you believe; show me what you do and I will tell you what you actually believe.

It sounded to me like you are looking for easy lunches. I usually bring leftover meat and cucumber and radishes for lunch. Or I have made up ahead, individual servings of tuna or egg salad to grab out of the fridge to take for lunch.

My most common snack (other than tea) is hard boiled eggs with mayo. Any kind of leftover meat makes a good snack, especially if it doesn't have a sauce so you can just pick it up in your fingers. I have to be careful with nuts as they lead to cravings. You could stuff celery with cream cheese. Cheese is another common snack but it too can lead to cravings for me.

I agree, low-carb has to be high-fat by definition. If you raise your protein more than what your body uses (usually over 80 grams/day) your body will turn it into sugar, leaving you no better off than high-carb because your body still will have to produce insulin.
Most of my snacks are macadamia nuts, eggs, beef jerky, veggies of all kinds including avoacdos.
Fat will make you feel full and satisfied, meaning I'm often only hungry 2-3 times/day. Your body needs lots of fat for your health, I know, very different from what we used to think. emoticon

If you try to limit both carbs , and fat, what will your body use for energy? The higher the fat the better.
