Biotin is one of many minor players in healthy metabolism. Most people can get enough by eating a healthy diet but, like all B vitamins, a little extra can't hurt if you can afford it.

I heard it's good to help alleviate dry, brittle hair & nails, but never heard of it being used to increase weight loss. And no, never tried it myself.

I heard that Biotin helps your hair grow and be healthier. Then I also read that it was good for weight loss. Can it be true? Googled it and there were quite a few places where they said yes, that is good to help metabolism in some people. Just wanted to hear if any of you ever used it and if it worked for you...........thanks.
