It's very zen-like to make them, but not very hard except for the tiny cuts that you have to use an x-acto knife to make. I'm just blown away by the precision of the designer! You print out the patterns and they all line up so perfectly!
Woubbie, How pretty... I had to take a peek because I didn't even know what a kirigami was, it's beautiful!! Will make lovely cards. But, like Kris, I'm sure I'd have a problem with the cut outs and all..
It's been a quiet Saturday here, however, we do have sunshine!! So, that's a plus..
EWEFLUFFY IS NOW KICK-SS
TODAY IS THE TOMORROW YOU WORRIED ABOUT YESTERDAY. GET ON WITH IT!!
BEFORE YOU CAN START A NEW CHAPTER - YOU HAVE TO FIRST TURN THE PAGE!
wow Woubbie...those are cool! No wonder your sister loved them...and, I'm sure, treasures them...Is that relaxing to you....I would be afraid of one false cut!!!! Plus my eyes wouldn't allow me to feel confident that I was following the lines!!!!
Early spring is OK by me, so long as it doesn't mean a hellacious next few weeks getting there!
Got the housekeeping out of the way early, and actually had some help for a change. (The priest was coming to do our annual home blessing today. He tries to get to every parishioner's home in the weeks after Epiphany. I think he missed us last year because the driveway was just too bad!)
Just puttering now. Yay! I downloaded a kirigami pattern to make some cards for my family members who play World of Warcraft. I found a pattern that looks just like a spirit healer from the game, very pretty:
I usually have a hard time respecting a rodent's weather predictions, but in this case I'll take it!!
I've had an awesome Saturday - and I was due for one! Had a massage with my tough-love massage therapist and then picked up a friend and we tried a new restaurant for lunch as a belated birthday celebration, and then we just played! I feel rejuvenated and am going to sit down in the livingroom and sort some client paperwork (he delivers his stuff in a big, messy wad of loose papers!), and continue to savor the day...

The day's almost over, at least out here. Spent the day at the library. Didn't make it to the Farmers Market this morning. Shovelled snow off the driveway instead. At least it's a whole lot warmer today than it was a couple of days ago! Anyone here what Phil saw (or didn't see)?
