that works for you, XA. I guess I am like LMB, I love heavy cream, but half and half will work if I have not other options...the first time I subsitituted, then tracked, I almost had heart failure when I found the carb level...And, if the only option is powdered creamer, I will drink it black or skip it altogether.
I prefer heavy cream too. But I'll use half and half if it's the only thing available. I don't like the non-dairy creamers. They have too many carbs and I don't like the way they taste. They are gritty to me.
I will also pour in a little vanilla extract, or some SF Torani or DaVinci. We're working through a bottle of SF hazelnut right now. The cream, vanilla and hazelnut all mixed together is really good.

I accidently made myself a flavored creamer. I put some cinnamon and vanilla extract in with cream to use on my berries at work. I ran out of regular half and half, so I poured some in my coffee...wow, delish!

Great - thanks for the info. I've been using the non-dairy creamer and I don't like the taste of heavy cream (or texture - not sure what it is exactly that i don't like). I'm going to give almond milk a try.

I've been using unsweetened almond milk. Cannot remember the carb content, but the unsweetened is very very low. I like the nutty taste and the fact that since it is not dairy, it does not make me bloated.
